Recommended by a friend and it didn't disappoint. Alfonso was an excellent host who is rightly very proud of his villa and gardens. The room was clean and very comfortable with beautiful, and probably unique, painted ceiling. Home made products for breakfast and helpful information for the day ahead including train times. Ideal central location for Pisa and surrounding places... More

We had a great time in Villa Theresa. The place looks amazing, with its beautiful garden, authentic rooms, antique furniture and carpets and romantic breakfast sun room. Plus its located right in the city center, and yet in a little ally that allows quiet and tranquility. Alfonso is a wonderful host, made us feel really welcome. He also has great... More

Reading the rewievs from visitors before us really came true in Villa Theresa. Alfonso is a great host, makes your stay like home, gives information, makes sure the visitors now how the house works and he always there if you need him. We loved the garden cat Stellina, she always came to greet whenever we were coming or going. The... More

Villa Theresa was the final stop on our trip through Tuscany, and we were so happy in our choice! A wonderful breakfast after a good night's sleep in a lovely and quiet room over looking the garden. Old world and comfortable, it was refreshing just to be there, and Alphonso and his wife were more than gracious, even helping us... More

My son and I spend 4 fabulous nights in Pisa (June 14). Villa Theresa is a fabulous oasis in the centre of Pisa - walking distance to everything. It is five minutes walk to the train station which made it easy for us to take day trips to Siena and Florence. It offers spacious, clean rooms and a lovely garden... More

We stayed at the Villa Theresa for 2 nights on the 31 May & 1 June. Big rooms, crisp clean sheets, a supply of bottled water, no noise - a good nights sleep. Alphonso could not have been a better host and is justifiably proud of both the house and garden. Walk out the door straight into Pisa. If you... More

My family and I visited Villa Theresa during the last week in May and we had a fantastic time. The garden was beautiful and I would have to agree wholeheartedly with the other reviewers who describe the garden as a 'little haven'. It really is a lovely place to escape the hustle and bustle of Pisa. It also has a... More

A good location in the centre of Pisa, within easy walking distance of the main attractions and shopping. Please be advised that if arriving by car, parking is a nightmare. Cars are restricted in the centre and a permit is needed, which can be obtained from the owner.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Theresa. The garden is really special and offers a beautiful and peaceful refuge right in the middle of the city. Our host was charming and very helpful and we loved our room with its beautiful ceiling. Breakfast, complete with homemade marmalade from oranges grown by Alphonso himself, was splendid. We would go back.

Excellent location in Pisa. Excellent and friendly service from the host. Good breakfast with slightly limited choices but top quality ingredients, and superb homemade marmalade. (Not too bitter). Really charming place with a secluded garden and rooms of real character with plenty of history. Ours had a wonderfully painted ceiling. You don't need a car. There is a very friendly... More
