Five Roses is tucked away off a street and a peaceful place to stay in the heart of Pisa. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean and quiet. Very easy to walk to all the sights, train station and even the airport. Flavia was extremely welcoming and full of tips on how to get around and where to eat. Her breakfast... More

We stayed at the Five Roses B&B for one night at the start of June 2012. It is very conveniently located for the train station, and a short bus ride from the airport. You are on the south side of the City and it is a nice walk through the centre and up towards the leaning tower allowing you to... More

This B&B was better than expected. The room was clean and the bathroom was brand new. Breakfast was spectacular - fruits, bread, all sorts of pies. We were very happy with the service, and there was a nice little pizza take-out just around the block from the B&B, which made for excellent dinner. Would definetly recommend.

Delighted by the spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed B & B. Hostess, Flavia went above and beyond with recommendations for restaurants, driving us to the airport and providing a gourmet breakfast. The location on the south side of the river near the train station and airport is perfectly located for shopping, restauranting or visiting other cities nearby. We would not... More

Pros: large, very clean and cozy room, silence, location, service, fabulous breakfast. And Flavia, the most kind, sweet and careful hostess in Italy. Cons: just one - after Five Roses, you'll feel like an orphan and every other place won't be good enough anymore. Don't miss: dinner at Cistorante (Linguini al mare or Bistecca are perfect!), one day trip to... More

We don't usually go to B & B's because I am not a morning person and don't like to socialize. However, my problem at Flavia's flat was not the socializing but the smells. Everything about her place had a fragrance, which for a person with allergies, is a killer!! There was a room freshener in our room, honeysuckle vine growing... More

My husband and i recently stayed three nights in this charming, spotlessly clean b & b. Flavia the owner kindly picked us up from the nearby airport which made it alot easier to find besides which my husband has a heart condition and did not need to be overtired. On arrival do not be put off by entrance as it... More
