Hotel Galileo is situated on Via St Maria in Pisa. I'd originally been trying to book another hotel with a similar name. At the end of a holiday with an early flight next day I just thought I needed a bed. I was delighted by my error. This gem is housed on th e first floor of a restored palazzo... More

The hotel is very centrally located in a nice old building. The room was good and clean, wifi reception in the room was good. The bed was very hard. The staff were very friendly and gave us many useful tips on arrival regarding restaurants and bars. Opposite the hotel is a nice café, Filter Coffee Lab, where we had a... More

Was welcomed by Francesca, very informative and on our arrival she helped us with suggesting places to visit and good restaurants in Pisa. Hotel is 5 mins away from leaning tower and very central. Hotel was clean and very quite. If in the future i ll be visiting pisa i will definitely return!

This is the perfect hotel for a stay in Pisa. The rooms are quite basic but the feel of the hotel is really nice and the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. We arrived early but they let us into the room anyway, which was a great help as we had heavy suitcases. The hotel... More

This is the second time I have stayed here as an overnight after arriving at the airport at the start of a holiday. The taxi fare is steep at 10-15 euros but really there is not an easy way to get there otherwise. The hotel is impersonal but clean and offers a very good choice at breakfast: it is an... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights whilst travelling through Italy. The hotel is really good value for money considering it is well appointed when it comes to rooms, with a good restaurant (serving a small but delicious menu) & is perfectly located. Its slightly out of town but still walking distance. We had a car with us so... More

The best thing about this hotel had to be the location! Its a 3-5 m8nute walk up to the leaning tower passing many restaurants/bats/ shops on the way. There is a great coffee shop straight across the road where we had breakfast. The bed was large and comfortable and the bathroom was clean. We only stayed for one night, wouldnt... More

This hotel is what you would expect of a typical Italian home in the city . The room was large and the furniture was rustic which is why I chose this particular hotel . Rooms were clean. Easy access from the airport , we arrived late so the bus only went to the train station but it was only a... More

The stayed late to welcome us. Taxi mix up took us to the Hotel Galelei - which is a very different place. Simple rooms on the second floor or and old town house - much like other places we stayed in Italy. Not the most modern - but if we wanted that we'd go stay at a Marriott. Rooms were... More
