Giorgio is an character. He will pick you up from the airport, bus or train station and will take you back. He even offers to take you on trips. There is an excellent, simple local restaurant, where you will be the only tourist. If you are in town, try Il Campano, off a small piazza, where the onion soup and... More

First of all, our big Thanks to Giorgio! He is really nice, friendly and very helpful guy. He picked us up at the train station, then drove us to the city center explaining us the main points of interests in Pisa with the short history overview. He offered also very honest opinion and some golden rules :) We were very... More

My husband, young son, and I stayed here our first night in Italy. Everything people say about Giorgio is true--he is a fantastic host. In fact, he was one of the most helpful hosts we have ever met. Not only did he give us excellent tips on where to go, good restaurants, and Italy in general, but he also drove... More

I stayed here for one night with a friend. The room was spacious with a huge wardrobe and good sized bathroom. It also had an extra bed. The room was a basic standard but very clean. There's also a little garden with sunbeds, although we didn't use it. Downstairs is the breakfast table, a little fridge and a coffee machine.... More

Very friendly and helpful owner, room decor and linen clean but basic. A 20 min walk to Pisa centre along the river. Safe at night. Breakfast coffee and fancy croissants. Best for the young on a budget.

This was our first stop in Italy. Giorgio picked us up at the airport-- he was not remotely put out by the fact that it was almost 10 p.m. He cheerfully gave us an abbreviated tour on the way to the BB and set us in our room. The brightly colored walls were a little of a surprise and the... More

We flew into Munich, Germany and rented a car and one of our destinations in Italy was Georgio's. He is an absolute gem of a host. As others have said, he will drive you all around Pisa and give you ideas of what to do and where to go. Breakfast was cappucino and pastries which was OK for us. The... More

I travelled to this B&B whilst on business as I fancied a change from the usual business hotels. No problem with the Wi-Fi in this B&B - I managed to get all my work done without the connection dropping off at all. Giorgio - the owner - picked me up from the station and drove me to various locations all... More

B&B Le Piagge is a lovely B&B but what sets it apart from all the rest is Giorgio. He was an INCREDIBLE host. He picked us up at the train station in Pisa, drove us around town to help us get acclimated, then took us to the B&B. Later that afternoon he drove us back into town and volunteered to... More
