We enjoyed our stay in Lucca especially we liked Locanda Sant Agostino. The host Graziana was very kind and hospitable, she cooked delicious breakfasts for us every day. The room was wonderful, cozy and chic. Decent size.the lounge with the fireplace and small treats(nuts, home made sweets, tea, coffee) made our stay unforgettable. These are small details but believe me they mean a lot, especially in... More

We arrived in Lucca by train and had a nice walk from the station through the center of Lucca to Locanda Sant Agostino. The map was easy to follow and it took about 15 minutes or so. We were met out front by Giacomo who was very friendly and helped us up the flight of stairs. He showed us our... More

The friendly and very helpful family owners/managers set this B&B apart from others, and the location while not very central is not too far from even the farthest reaches of Lucca, itself a pretty small and very enjoyable medieval city. With a little planning one can reduce the food expenditures, since Graziana's breakfasts will set you up for most of... More

If all of Lucca feels like a place untouched by time, staying in this wonderful ancient palazzo makes this feeling only stronger and better! While oozing all the charm and beauty of an old place, it also offers all modern conveniences, extremely comfortable beds, and beyond any doubt the best breakfast in Italy! The hosts are friendly and eager to... More

Lucca is a quaint, charming and wonderful medieval village and the Locanda Sant'Agostino made our stay spectacular!!! This wasn't our first trip to Italy, we get over there frequently... But it was our first time in Lucca... We stayed here 3 nights in late August 2014 and it was just wonderful... I've always avoided B & B's feeling they wouldn't... More

Stayed here for 2 nights during my stay in Tuscany. It's a unique guest house in the city that has beautiful, almost "regal" style rooms. Very high ceilings and lots of space. A wonderful, friendly, family run place. We were warmly welcomed and given all the information you could possibly need for a visit to the city. Plenty of options... More

We stayed at Locanda Sant Agostino for 2 nights, and it was the perfect base for our trip to Lucca. This is a small town with a medieval feel, and the Locanda invokes the same essence - and the son and mother team that run it make you feel right at home, and are more than happy to accommodate anything... Myself and a friend stayed for 4 nights at this amazing guesthouse. We couldn't believe our luck.Lucca is a beautiful medieval town and this guesthouse brings the renaissance period to life-the bedroom we stayed in was stunning and just like the photos, with a huge four poster bed and art hanging on the walls in keeping with the theme. It is also ideally... We spent Easter weekend in Lucca, what a beautiful serene city! We selected this Locanda based on recommendations from Trip Advisor and Rick Steves Italy guidebook. Arriving by train, the owner Silvia greeted us and provided transportation from the train station. We were introduced to her mother, Graziana, who manages the inn during the day. Graziana's breakfasts were absolutely perfect... More
