We had a great 4 night stay at Relais San Lorenzo. The location is very central and you can walk to any place in the small town Lucca. Also, you can walk (15 min) to the train station if you want to go to Florence. The room is really small, but is clean and has a nice atmosphere. The breakfast... More

With well-sized rooms in a gorgeous Renaissance building, this B and B also has a familial fee to it that is palpable and welcoming. Daniela, Anil, and Michaela are friendly and helpful, and make the experience here truly like a visit to their home. My room was down some stairs off the comfortable parlor, which was a bit weird, but... More

We concur with many of the good reviews of this place.we don't agree that it is difficult to find-its a piece of cake :-) The location is second to none, Lucca is a small city anyway but from the entrance its a short pleasant walk to EVERYWHERE. Daniella and the 'staff' are lovely, our room was great and the bed... More

This was our first visit to Lucca, and we could not have picked a better place to spend the week. The location is perfect, close to everything you would want to do and see in Lucca. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the breakfast is delicious and plentiful. But the best part is the support and care we received from... More

This was our second stay at Relais San Lorenzo and will certainly not be our last. The property is beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. Daniela the owner, her son Michele and the ever smiling Anil are all very kind and attentive without being intrusive. No request goes unanswered and the facilities at San Lorenzo are first class. Breakfast is abundant... More

We spent six nights at this delightful small B&B in Lucca. We were made to feel welcome by Daniela Rossi and family, and the ever-smiling Anil. San Lorenzo is centrally located, but not in a busy area so noise at night is minor. Important to know that San Lorenzo is on the second floor, and there is no lift -... More

This place is wonderfully bijou, an old palazzo converted into a wonderfully atmospheric small hotel. The staff are lovely and the rooms spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was served in a lovely old drawing room and was more than adequate. Highly recommended.

This hotel is located on a small, typical, centre of the old city kind of street. It is in a small, four story building. We arrived later in the afternoon and had to ring the bell and wait for someone to let us up. It took about 10 minutes for someone to answer, but don't be discouraged, someone will answer.... More

We could not have wished for a friendlier welcome from owner Daniela and her assistant Anil at this elegant, small B&B, centrally yet quietly located in our favourite small Italian city. Part of a Lucchese nobleman's house, San Lorenzo has only five bedrooms. Ours was La Boheme, a small but comfortable double with a large, comfy bed, a good shower, and... More

I had 2 nights booked in August. They claimed I didn't have a reservation, I had my email confirmation from them. They called and sent me to another hotel. It had no A/C, ripped me off on the price. I stayed one night.... thanks Relais San Lorenzo for ruining my trip in Lucca!!!!!
