We felt unwelcome (a common theme) - rooms were basic with what seemed to be the world's smallest television. Very loud - you can here people walking about in heels - loud bangs. We arrived at 11pm after an evening walk and it was closed! Had to use rear entrance - looks like the owners went to bed. No water... More

Very friendly staff and an excellent location to visit Lucca. The manager and all the staff are friendly, helpful and keen to make your stay enjoyable. The location is excellent just outside the city walls and no more than 10 / 15 minutes walk to really nice restaurants. We ate at Gli Orti, Enotoca Calasto (nr the Catherdral) and Buca... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Elisa. First, the location is as perfect as it gets. Only a short walking distance to the Porta Elisa, convenient to restaurants, churches and shopping. In addition a supermarket is down the street. We stayed for 7 nights, using this hotel as our jumping off point for many places in Northern Tuscany. Pisa... More

I have nothing negative to say about our stay at Villa Elisa and I can't think of anything they could improve: friendliness, enquiry response, location, check-in, check-out, impeccable and well-appointed room, to-die-for breakfast, free bicycles (a must for anyone visiting Lucca). A four star accommodation experience for a three star price. Great value. Highly recommend. We would have stayed longer... More

We arrived in Lucca for one day. I have choosen this hotel because of his location (5 min by walk to the historical center). The parking was available at the hotel as well as bikes (for free). By the way, we took them twice because it is the best way to discover the city. The stuff was really nice and helpful,... More

From the moment we arrived we were impressed with this B&B. Located close to the magnificent City walls in a quiet residential street the Villa Elisa is peaceful, calm and very comfortable indeed. It has its own parking at the rear of the hotel. We were welcomed with a complimentary glass of Italian wine and snacks by our cheerful Argentinian... More

Located about two blocks to the Porto Elisa to the old city. You can bike or walk around the whole city on top of the city walls. We enjoyed the clean and spacious room. The rooms have a modern vibe. Very accomadting staff. The breakfast was very good.

We stayed in this B&B for one night on the outside of Lucca. Very close to an entrance. They loaned us bikes to ride on the wall. Very clean and comfortable . It was easy to find and had ample parking included in the price. Also included was a wonderful breakfast.
