The hotel had 3 rooms occupied but still gave a room with a cramped bathroom with shower only although their photos show double sinks and jacuzzis. The American buffet breakfast was poor with no eggs, pancakes etc. Generally over priced and not worthy of 5 stars.

Good news in our times are few, but I have one for you. In the beautiful city of Lucca, I found Hotel Noblesse, witch conquerred my heart... Maybe all critics will have no words to say when they see all the splendour of hotel's architecture. When you arrive there, you enter in a world of beautiful dreams and confort. In... More

I stayed at Hotel Noblesse in Feb, it was an awesome and memorable stay there, I loved the historic style of this hotel. I was impressed by the friendly staff and the quiet environment. I wish I had stayed longer. The rooms are very stylish and clean. The best part of my stay is breakfast time, it was the best... More

We recently spent 4 nights and 4 days at the Hotel Noblesse in Lucca, Italy. This was our 2nd stay there and this time we brought our parents and a sister. There were 6 of us in total. We stayed from april 19 - 23rd, 2009. We returned to Lucca and this hotel because Lucca is our favorite town in... More

We found this hotel through a friend who recommended it as "the best in town." How right she was! We were thrilled with its pampering service, its unique attention to aesthetic details: e.g., exquisite antiques, Oriental rugs throughout, magnificent Brazilian cherry wood floors (even in the bathroom), and dramatic artwork on delicately faux-painted walls. We thought the hotel was fairly... More

This is not a five star hotel. There is a dearth of decent places to stay in Lucca, and this is the best of the bunch. A five star property with no outside area to sit, no pool, terrible breakfast selection etc. We stayed in a suite which was a nice room in fairness, but when you consider that we... More

The problems with this hotel are two: the price and its star rating. This is a nice, little, no frills hotel and should be priced at EUR 200 per night. We had a tiny suite (a small double room attached to a small single room) and spent EUR 600 per night. The lobby is tiny and uninspiring. The hallways are... More

Just returned from a 6 night stay at the Hotel Noblesse. The hotel itself is excellent--hotel staff (Veronica and Sarat especially) were very helpful, rooms were a good size with all amenities and very clean. Excellent location in the historic part of the city. Beware of the restaurant! There is a big difference between the hotel and the restaurant --... More

We spent 3 nights here recently. We decided to splurge on the Noblesse after reading TA reviews of other Lucca hotels. If you go back far enough on all of them there are serious flaws like mosquitoes in the room, rubber pads on the bed, surly staff, strip mall location, a/c didn't work etc etc. We really enjoyed our stay... a problem on arrival, incorrect booking not hotels fault. But still given a tiny double room for 2 people but charged at normal rate. This hotel is by no means a 5 Star. The red leather bed was offensive and the overall decor was oppulent bordering gaudy. The food was below average, risotto had no seasoning whatsoever. Desserts mediocre. Breakfast... More
