From the moment I arrived until I left all the staff were very helpful, very friendly and provided great service - no request was too much trouble - in fact no trouble at all! The restaurant prepared and presented good food. I appreciated the central location. The Puccini music school is close to the hotel and the excellent music could... More

Before I wrote this I wanted the check what the other people thought, because sometimes I can be over critical, but a 5 star is a 5 star. The staff very polite. I don't think I have to tell the reception that the shower is not working properly, that the blind are not closing completely, this is what someone of... More

Stayed here very recently and I have to say that we were very impressed. The staff were all excellent, friendly and very helpful. We did not use the restaurant in the evening, although it was always busy, but the breakfast was fantastic. There is a lovely garden courtyard area and the location was ideal for exploring the city. The housekeeping... More

Elis, who works at the front desk, epitomizes hopsitality and '5 star service' with his warm and welcoming personality. The genuine care for his guests shows through his curiosity to acquaint himself and ask questions--although I only stayed for one night, he remembered my name among all the other guests. The rooms are fantastic, each donning a diverse Italian decor.... More

We booked this hotel on the basis of it being the only 5* hotel in Lucca. It may have been 5* thirty of forty years ago but it is not at all what one expects from a 5* hotel in 2014. It is a charming hotel that is of its age but it needs updating. The air-conditioning was faulty when... More

My wife and I spent two nights here in early July and were very happy with our choice. The hotel is in a great location in the middle of the city, the staff was very helpful (they sent a car to meet us at one of the city gates to guide our car through the narrow streets), the garden restaurant... What a charming, well-located establishment in the heart of town worthy of a 5-Star rating. From the first phone call through our departure, we were made to feel very welcomed and cared for. Veronica, at the front desk was particularly helpful. Our Suite had views of the Tower and nearby Church. I'd highly recommend Room 30 with balcony on the... More

My husband and I really enjoyed our two night stay at Hotel Noblesse. The position in the gorgeous walled city of Lucca is fabulous and we had the benefit of being right in the hub, but still having a gloriously quiet room (suite) with big windows thus we had no need of the airconditioning at the time we were there...
