This pension is owned by the same family that owns and runs La Luna....you've seen the good reviews for La Luna, I can tell you that they have brought the same dedication to service to Alla Dimora Lucense. This is a lovely place with a few caveats. First of all, the rooms are very nice. They seem to be recently updated and the updates are tasteful (although they could do with less angel-themed art). The medium-sized rooms also benefit from high ceilings and seem more spacious because of that. Wood beamed ceilings and tile floors also add charm.... more

Spent a week at the Alla Dimora Lucense. It is situated in the heart of Lucca just around the corner from the Chiesa di San Frediano and the Piazza del Anfiteatro.
