We stayed here for. 3 nights in September 2014. Beautiful place with swimming pool, restaurant and stunning views set amongst olive groves and vines.Marco was a really nice guy, very helpful land made you feel very welcome. Make sure to get to spend some time around the pool as it is a lovely setting. You will need a car to... More

It might be one of the best view hotels, with top panorama viewing over Lucca. We stayed at the suites area. The hotel has several dependances in the same street. On top of the hill, difficult to reach, the suites, where we stayed and the villa volpi hotel. Great services with a smile, nice furniture, bedding and clean bathrooms. The... More

Marco was a great host. Very helpful and welcoming. It's a great, quiet location.. Quite a few bendy roads to it. You need a car. There's no other restaurants near.. A little way out from Luca, 15/20 mins in a car. Great terrace and pool. Typical Tuscan rustic room, nice bathroom .. Their own prosecco wine was lovely. They make it..... More

We booked Villa Volpi after a bit of a mix up with accommodation during a little Tuscan Tour. We arrived at Villa Volpi with ease, using the co-ordinates provided on the website. The accommodation is traditional, clean and comfortable. The communal areas are very pretty with the cherry on the cake the pool and it's simply beautiful view. We were... More

We stayed here only one night while traveling by motorcycle. The main building is decorated as a country retreat, with welcoming rooms in which to relax. Our room featured a rustic ceiling with very old wooden beams. It was simply furnished with very comfortable beds and the bathroom was very nice and modern. The family owns a large tract of... More

We stayed here as part of an anniversary trip. Marco and Andrea were wonderful hosts, going out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. Our room was beautifully rustic. The AC made more noise than cold air, but we just opened the windows of our corner room and enjoyed the cool breeze instead. The room was... More

We booked this hotel the night before due to a change in travel plans. I'm not sure if I've ever stayed at a hotel I loved more. We originally booked at Castello di Mammoli and when we arrived Adriana told us that she thought the suite in Villa Volpi would be better for us. She was SPOT on. (And Adriana... More

As couple we booked this for a special anniversary and wanted to stay a week. After the booking was accepted we then got an email to say we would have to move out of our room to a lesser room by the weekend as they were booking a wedding party and the party wanted the room we had booked. Very... More

We had booked 4 nights at Castello di Mammoli. When we checked in, the owner Marco suggested that we would stay at Villa Volpi instead where he had a perfect house for us (2 adults and 3 teenagers). It was really perfect with a fantastic view over the landscape and the old citadel that is located on a hilltop. Great... More

We stayed at this hotel on a Beach's Motorcycle Adv. vacation. The hotel is off on it's own with a sprawling property with grapes and olives growing all around. The hotel drips character with nice sized rooms and enough modern touches to make them comfortable without demising it's old world charm. We had a very good meal in the restaurant... More
