Staying here was the highlight of my six-week trip to Italy and I must return! It's difficult to write a review for APdR that isn't overloaded with superlatives or that doesn't merely repeat others' glowing recommendations, so this is what I can add. Al Podere di Rosa is what I imagined an agriturismo or B&B *could be*, but didn't really... More

We stayed a week with Caterina and Paolo. Upon arrival Paolo greeted us with bottles of his wine - and give us a tour of his winery.... well, the room where he makes the wine. We simply can't say enough good about our time at this B&B. It is well located for day trips in the region and at night... More

We stayed two nights at podere do rosa. The day we arrived was just during a wine tasting. We had two wait only a few minutes and we were offered immdiately a bottle of wine for the inconvenience. To visit Lucca they offered us two bikes to make it easy. At breakfast we got super service. Rosa and Paulo really... More

While driving in the area, we found that we had a little bit of time to spare so we stopped into this gorgeous winery. The owner, Paolo very kindly shared his wine and knowledge with us even though we did not have an appointment. He was full of personality! We very much liked his wine and left with 4 bottles... This Agriturismo B&B is located within a convenient distence to the beautiful medieval wall surrounded town of Lucca. It lived up to our expectations, with resident cats and four hens making friends with the guests! We had excellent service from the owner couple, including a recommendation for a good local osteria on the afternoon of arrival, and a taste of... More

We had a family wedding in Lucca and spent 3 nights at Al podere di Rosa! We had the whole place to ourselves (9 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 small children).Caterina and Paolo were great, helpful hosts! The location is excellent, the breakfeast amazing, the rooms nicely decorated and spotless. No animals, just ducks! The pool is great for children.... More

In 5 weeks of touring Italy, this was by far the best accommodation we had. Owners Paolo and Caterina made us most welcome right from the moment we walked in the door. Country rustic type home on a farm about 5 minute drive from the walled city of Lucca. There are a couple of good restaurants about a 10 minute... More

We spent 3 nights in this very nice Bed&Breakfast "Agriturismo". The owners Caterina and Paolo have been very kind and cheerful all time with us. Our bedroom and the associated bathroom were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was reach and very good. This "Agriturismo" is located in the beautiful country side, a few kilometers away from Lucca ( just... More

My wife and I stayed with Caterina and Paolo in late September and had a wonderful experience. The breakfast was excellent, room was large and comfortable and the hospitality was akin to a farm friendship. Paolo even graciously allowed me to help him transfer some wine to his aging barrel - a different experience. Lucca is close by and an... More

My fault that I did not realize there were cats in the house. Stayed 15 minutes and had to leave because of allergies. Was charged for the first night. Found a wonderful B&B in Lucca called La Romea.Stayed there 5 nights.
