What a lovely place to stay, with a stunning exterior. Very small double room (Strauss) on the first floor, but very clean and comfortable and staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. There was plenty of hot water for the shower and a good supply of soft fluffy towels. The breakfast freshly baked croissants were excellent. It is only... More

We had a very elegant, large, superior double room on the second floor - Mozart room - with a large well-equipped bathroom. The room has excellent much-needed air-conditioning. The room was immaculately furnished and cleaned with loving care. Breakfast is an excellent spread of cereals, yoghurts, local meats and cheese, fresh fruit, bread, croissants, cakes, jams, fruit juice, coffee and... More

This beautiful B&B was just a great find in this unique historical town of Lucca. Located just 15 minutes walk to the old town it has everything you need included secure parking. Anna greeted us on arrival, we were upgraded to a superior room as it was our anniversary. The B&B is one of the beautifully restored traditional style Villas... More

This is small bed and breakfast. We found it to be a good base from which to explore Lucca, but not so good from which to explore Tuscany - we found ourselves spending way too much time in the car. That said...Patrizia and her staff, Anna and Brunella, run a nice a hotel. Anna speaks English fluently. We found them... More

This was our first stop on our Tuscan holiday and we chose it based on proximity to city and the free parking. The rooms are large, well appointed and spotless. Bathroom was nicely finished and with a great shower. The breakfasts are an area for improvement - while nothing wrong, it just lacked service. It took a while to get... More

This was the first hotel my husband and I stayed in as part of our tour around Tuscany and we were very happy with its location for exploring Lucca, which was a 15 minute stroll away. However first impressions count - having had quite a drive from the airport we were looking forward to checking into the hotel and freshening... More

Just loved this hotel. The staff were so friendly and professional and went out of their way to make sure we were as comfortable as possible and gave us suggestions about where to eat and what to see with an excellent map of the city. The room was beautifully decorated and all the fittings were of the highest standard. We... More

in my view this hotel hard to beat, great location 10 minutes walk to the walls of the city and handy for Pisa/Sienna/Florence if touring about, secure parking, very well appointed rooms and bathrooms, good soundproofing, they don't mind the hound, breakfast is good, staff are very pleasant whats not to like, been before and will be going again.
