Nice hostel in the city center. Very spacious, situated in the old building close to St. Frediano church that you can actually see from some windows. I spent one night there. Although I lived in the 8-bed room instead of the 6-bed room that was offered on booking.com and water in the bathroom was only slightly warm, and there was... More

Dear guest, thank you so much for your nice review. By the way, we would like to point out few things: - it's true that you slept in a 8-beds dorm, but you were only six people; in order to respect your reservation, if you have a reservation for a 6-beds dorm and you are in a 8-beds dorm...we just... Although it's a bit of a walk from the train station, this hostel is only a couple of minutes from the town center. The hostel is clean, with private bathrooms (though not ensuites) and several common areas. The only cons are that the wifi is very spotty and there was only one power point in an 8 bed room.

Dear Guest, thank you so much for your nice review and words. By the way, we would like to point out two things: - the hostel is not a couple of minutes from the centre, but the hostel is in the centre. The main street in the city centre, is the parallel of the street where we are situated; the... More

The hostel is located in a former convent at only 3 min. walk from the center! Spacious building with nice and clean rooms. Skilled staff. No problem to store our bikes. Additional breakfast possible. Absolutely a nice place to stay when you visit Lucca!

The hostel is in a beautiful building, previously a monastery, with loads of character. The location is perfect - there is easy access to the wall as well as the town. Bus # 18 takes you to the San Frediano stop from the station. The wifi was poor with hardly any signal available. The €3 breakfast is cheap but lacking.... More

The place's very central, just next to the city walls. Hostel was a great place to meet up with all sorts of travels coming from all over the globe. Sleeping with loads of strangers in one room for the very first time was a bit weird but also an adventure;-) The place itself was a monastery and the building is... More

is what this place has going for it. I believe that all that work here have every intention of making your stay pleasant, but some things let it down. We loved Lucca and it was easy to access from this excellently positioned hostel. There is no air conditioning, so my advice would be to not stay here during the humid... More

We stayed here, clean rooms, beautiful exterior, great location. Very weird aura though- hard to explain! Not much of a youth hostel, more Middle Aged. Breakfast was a pretty poor selection of toast but overall was a nice to stay

DIdn't spend much time here, but was pretty nice. The lobby feels like a hotel, which is sort of nice. Only wifi in the lobby which is annoying, and breakfast not included, but otherwise it's nice. There are HUGE common spaces spread around the place, which are cool. There's no much social interaction here, except maybe in the rooms. Lockers... More

Very happy and helpful staff, great breakfast! Lots of room, nice yard. Would stay here again. Be careful with the hot water, as it is very hot. Beds are a little squeaky. Rooms are very clean. Good place to stay with a family. Great price!!!
