Stayed August 2014 for 2 nights with our 11 year old daughter in a suite (large room) with an additional bed. The room was lovely, very pretty and comfortable with a huge bathroom and good a/c. Location was very good, so close to the wall and easy to find due to being near the football stadium. Excellent breakfasts, plenty of... More

We really loved this cute little hotel just outside the walls of Lucca. Free parking, excellent WIFI, a nice little pool and hot tub made this stay memorable. The breakfast was very good and, if you are lucky, you sit at one of two tables in the front sun room overlooking the gardens. The staff was very helpfull and courteous....we'll... More

We stayed at Villa Romantica for a couple of nights on our italian road trip. Whilst it is slightly outside the city walls the free use of bikes means getting in to the town centre takes minutes. The facilities were as good as could have been expected from a much more expensive hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful as... More

We stayed here for two nights last week and enjoyed every minute of our stay. We had a junior suite with a large bed and comfortable seating area. Excellent bathroom with fabulous spa bath and shower. Tea and coffee also provided in room. Very nice continental style breakfast. Very convenient for visiting the lovely city - 10 minutes walk to... We recently visited Italy and spent 5 days at the Villa Romantica. I don't think I could possibly express how wonderful this villa is. We were very excited to get there and see the place after viewing the pictures and reviews online. We were even more excited when we got there. The Villa has more charm than you could every... More

We had a full apartment for 6 days and we loved our stay with all it had to offer. Pool area calming and refreshing. The grounds are elegant with towering evergreens, roses, lemon s and orange blossoms. The innkeepers and resident cat were very welcoming. I really relished the opportunity to ride the bikes available. It made the Lucca experience... More

There is a pool not huge but lovely to lounge around and then go for a dip, there is even a little place to relax... More

We have visited this before, and we keep coming back. There are a number of reasons for this! The location is great: Located just outside the walls of the old city with just a nice walk from the hotel to the great wall. If you come by car there is free parking on the premises, and we have never experienced... More

A lovely small hotel outside the walls of Lucca. We stayed for four nights in a double room. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and cannot do enough for you. The rooms are large and comfortable with nice bathrooms. The pool area is nice but there were Mosquitos there. It is quite a walk into the town but once you... More

we slept in possibly the squeakiest bed I have ever encountered, not exactly ideal when on your honeymoon, as we were! The family, cat & breakfast buffet were all very lovely though. Be aware that the hotel is virtually next door to the town football stadium and they played/trained all 3 nights we were there until pretty late.
