Stayed here in Sept 15 with elderly parents, position in Lucca old town is perfect, with secure parking directly opposite the hotel entrance. Both of the rooms we booked were individually very different, both with unique tromp d'oeil frescos on the walls - one room was floating in the middle of the Tuscan hillside, the other part of a garden... I spent in this hotel a total of 8 nights with 2 groups of tourists from the USA. What can I say more than perfect in every aspect? Nice old building perfectly restored and refurbished. Nice and spacious room according to the fact the building is very old and of course they had to maintain the same size and the... More

We spent 3 nights here with a tour. The room was comfortable, with a king bed and sitting room with a couch. (noisy until 10pm, our room was near kitchen of a restaurant) The breakfast was very complete, with both European and American items available. They would make coffee to order. The bathroom was large, with everything needed, including a... More

We stayed in the Glicine room. This was lovely and spacious with windows that opened onto the street below. The room was decorated traditionally but the huge bathroom was modern. The staff were extremely helpful and gave us advice on what to see and do in Lucca and highlighted all the places of interest on a map for us. Breakfast... More

We forgot the directions that are included in your conformation and had to call to get some directions as we entered the walls of Lucca. As we turned onto the small narrow street of the hotel. the staff person was at the door on the lookout for us. With a friendly wave and smile it was the first of many... More

Corte degli Angeli (Courtyard of the Angels) is a charming B&B right within the center of Lucca, within walking distance to everything. The rooms are large with modern bathrooms, the staff is helpful with restaurant and other recommendations, the breakfast is bountiful and diverse, and the decor is charming. Each room is named after a flower and there is botanical... More

This hotel is just average in my opinion. The location was great. The staff were fine. The rooms were just average. The breakfasts were great. There is no elevator so you will be carrying your luggage up stairs. I feel it was too expensive for what it was. In addition to the room rate, they charged for parking - we... More

Actually, I would have thought it was an okay place if I'd paid a lot less like we usually do when traveling. However, we had my 85 yo father with us and decided to splurge. We paid more for these rooms than anywhere else in Italy and the rooms were definitely a disappointment! We had the Rosa and Camilia rooms... More

We enjoyed our stay here--but we like "quirky" places. The room itself was lovely--hand-painted decorations across the ceiling and three large windows. The lobby and dining area were a bit shabby. Service was excellent. Location is ideal!

Excellent small hotel within the walls of the old city. Spacious comfortable bedroom with air-conditioning. Helpful service from the reception staff. Wonderful breakfast! The only downside is the difficulty finding exact location of hotel - very narrow streets and the myriad of one way streets make driving a test of initiative!

Dear guest many thanks for your review We know the difficult for strange people to arrive in Lucca downtown for the first time .... It is a charming medieval city but it is not very simple by car . For this reason we suggest our guest to contact us to have our best indications to reach the hotel . We... More
