What an amazing find just outside of Lucca. Stunning villa, peaceful quiet like you would not believe (slept for 10 hours straight! Can barely manage 5 hours nowadays!) The location is slightly isolated but also easy and quick to get to from Pisa airport. The villa is impeccably furnished, and has a feel of a large house that you have... More

What an amazing find just outside of Lucca! Villa Casanova is situated on top of a hill with an amazing view (both from our room and from the dining terrace) of the rolling hills. The service from the owner, staff and dining servers was incredible. The staff/owner went out of their way to make you feel as comfortable as possible... More

I am ashamed it has taken me so long to write this review, which has everything to do with the demands on daily life and nothing to do with the hotel itself. From the moment we arrived at Villa Casanova we knew we'd stumbled on something very special. We were greeted with a warm welcome by the owners, who as... More

We just returned from a 6 night stay at the Villa Casanova. When we first arrived, we were a little worried because although it is described as a 5 star hotel, the interior decor is a bit dated and not as meticulous as what I would consider that of a 5 star hotel. But we quickly fell in love with... More

We only stayed two nights, but would have loved to have made it longer, wonderful place with delightful people, we fell in love with it. Nothing was too much trouble, the food was delicious and we loved the breakfast. Rooms were beautifully done and the beds were extremely comfortable, my wife thoroughly approved of the shower.

This was one of the most spectacular hotel experiences we have ever had. The room -- rooms really -- was spacious and beautiful with amazing views of the valley. We were actually given a choice so we saw another room which was also beautiful but with less gorgeous views (we would have been very happy to stay there too). The... More

Views as far as the eye can see! My husband David and I are luxury travel planners with a true passion for extraordinary hotels that offer the ultimate vacation experience and I can say the Albergo Villa Casanova is one of the most delightful five-star hotels we have visited. The hotel is a renovated 18th century farmhouse nested amid 360... More

We stayed at Albergo Villa Casanova in May 2014 for a weekend and would thoroughly recommend it. The staff are extremely hospitable and the food was delicious. It is easilyvreached from Pisa but is quiet and serene. The views from the hotel are amazing and the facilities wonderful. Probably the best bed we have ever slept in!!

We were in Tuscany to watch the classic car race the Mille Miglia and found another classic!!!! This special hotel is located in the peaceful Tuscan countryside close to the ancient town of Lucca. We had a wonderful two nights stay in the luxury boutique hotel. Our rooms were very large and beautifully decorated. The beds were so comfortable, with... More
