Returning to France from Pompeii and Rome, we had a one night stop here in order to see Pisa. Easy access to the hotel and breath taking driveway. We were greeted by a lovely receptionist who took us to our lovely, clean and spacious balconied room on the first floor overlooking the drive and the terrace. We dropped our bags... More

Staying at Villa Cheli was terrific... hospitality by the staff was excellent and very accommodating to our group of 10. restaurant food was also excellent and a bonus since it was on site. Rooms were nice size for being such an old structure.. and everything was clean and neat. Good value on top of all that.

This was the second trip for us. We were on a tennis holiday and on the first evening we met up with another couple and two singles, but it was only after the sitting downto the meal did we realise they were English and that we were on the same holiday together. We were all eating at the restaurant enjoying... More

I stayed here with a friend as the last leg of our trip through Tuscany. We were lucky this was our last stop, because it offers the perfect combination of exploring the area and some leisure time at the hotel. The hotel is outside Lucca, so you need to be by car to get to and from the hotel. Driving... More

The best thing about this hotel is the pool and the scenery. The location is good as it's close to Lucca & Pisa. On the negative side; - Staff not overly helpful. - We stayed in one of the apartments, it had a kitchen with no utensils, saucepans, crockery, cutlery or tea/coffee making facilities. - The apartments are quite dingy... Spent a week a villa cheli with tuscan tennis holidays. What a lovely hotel. It has the feel of staying in a private home, but with all the comforts of a great hotel. The practicalities... Rooms are fully air conditioned, very tuscan (tiled floors, beamed ceilings etc). My room had a shower room, toiletries, built in hair dryer etc. good... More

A beautiful country villa reached via a long drive and surrounded by olive trees and cypressa (hope that's right). Lovely large rooms with old/antique furniture, comfortable beds and ensuite shower rooms. Great staff and a lovely simple swimming pool that never seems to get crowded. Breakfast is good, but lacks in healthy options, other than a few apples and the... More

Last year we stayed in the separate building. This year we were in the main building and we think our room was more comfortable and modern in comparison. This is a quiet hotel, it has a nice pool area (and 2 resident cats and a dog). The staff have always been pleasant and helpful. The breakfast supplied is adequate, nothing... More

Hi We spend our holiday here from july 17th-24th and we had a very lovely stay. At first we were a little disappointed about getting a room on the top floor due to the heat and missing light from the small rooftop window. This was no problem at all, as the air condition was very effective and during the day... More
