Our experience with the B&B and the hostess are the same as others have mentioned. The place is charming and so it the young owner. We did email that my husband is gluten intolerant, and Sara replied that this would be no problem. She purchased 6 items for him to eat at breakfast. We are so glad we decided to... more

I recently stayed for nearly one week at Le Cannelle, in the room pictured above. It is a very old house directly on the street, about 5 minutes' walk from Fiesole square. Sara is an excellent hostess and the small b&b is impeccably clean and comfortable. The two large downstairs rooms don't have views (mine looked out on a courtyard)... more

Sara does everything very professionally. I particularly loved her choice of furniture; all solid oak I think - I'd be proud to have it in my own house. The room was decorated overall in the most restrained and tasteful way, appropriate to Florence as the home of the Italian Renaissance. A touch of real class! Breakfast was different to what... more

Nice place, nice rooms, nice proprietor. Breakfast needs to be a bit more varied and the coffee needs to be stronger. more

Le Cannelle, Fiesole, Italy March 17-20, 2009--Sara Corsi We spent our first three nights in Tuscany in the small town of Fiesole, on a hilltop about seven miles outside of--and overlooking--Florence. We are not city people, and wanted to have a quieter experience in the evenings for our first three nights, after spending the days seeing the sights of Florence.We... more

I followed other travellers advice and was 100% satisfied with Le Cannelle... an easy bus ride away from Florence, with all the benefits of staying in a small antique charming town. The views of Florence from the main square are amazing! Ask the owner Sara for her recommendations on places to eat in Fiesole... you won't be dissapointed. Great experience... more

After long days of sightseeing in Florence, we were delighted to come "home" each night to LeCannelle. Sara is energetic and fun, and she can provide all the concierge type service you need. The room we were in had no window views. That's the only thing that would have made it PERFECT. We recommend this charming B&B to anyone who... more

We stayed at Le Cannelle for 2 nights in late September. We learned of this small (5 room) B&B from TripAdvisor and booked our room directly with the owner, Sara Corsi, before we left for Europe. We couldn't have been more pleased with our choice. The hotel is very sweet. Our room was very large and very immaculate. The breakfasts,... more

I stayed here for 4 nights on business. Le Canelle is a small, friendly B&B in the main street of Fiesole. My room had a comfortable double bed, with ensuite shower room, and good views over the surrounding hills. Breakfast was simple and good. Sara, the owner, was very friendly, entertaining and helpful. Fiesole is an attractive large village, about... more

We spent five days with Sara and can only repeat what's been said by others. Nothing is too much trouble and everything is as you would wish it to be. more
