After a near terrifying experience at a nearby B&B we ended up here by pure happenstance, and could not have been happier. The Villa is gorgeous, the owners are a warm, charming couple full of interesting stories (if you are interested, and we were). The rooms are enormous, and impeccable, and the breakfast more than generous --good coffee, tea and... More

We stayed for a week at Agriturismo Monterreggi, and i can say that we had a very pleasant experience indeed. The location was perfect for us, right near Florence (only about a 20 min drive), and located in the hills. The views from the villa were beautiful. We were a family of four (two kids and two adults) and the... More

I feel very happy that we stayed at Montereggi for our week-long vacation in Tuscany. The hosts are an amazingly kind and warm family. My children and I felt very welcomed and will never forget our visit to their home and Tuscany. Montereggi's location was optimal not only for visits into Florence and Fiesole but also for daily trips in... More

My family and I spent almost a year living in one of the Stegagnini family's beautiful vacation homes, from September 2010 to July 2011 while we spent a sabbatical year in Italy. No one could ask for better hosts or accommodations. Fiammetta, Bruno and Fabrizio bent over backward to help us settle into an unfamiliar country and to enjoy everything... More

Cannot say enough good about Montereggi. Our hosts, Fiammetta, Bruno, and Fabrizio made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The guest house is situated in the olive grove (they press their own olive oil). Behind it is an Etruscan wall (ask Bruno about this). Staying in a 16th century building and experiencing the "true Tuscany" cannot be equaled. Fiesole is ideal... More

We have stayed at Montereggi twice now and each time makes us long to return again soon! Beautiful, peaceful setting away from the city. We stayed in an apartmento up on the hill above the house and loved every minute of it. It is away from town but because we had a car there wasn't an issue getting there.

I was dubious at first about going to stay here as it had so little reviews, but it was amazing. Me and my boyfriend stayed in the B&B part, the room was HUGE and beautifully furnished. It had a fridge, with very reasonably priced drinks in (1 euro each) and we bought food and kept it in there to have... More
