Dinner with friends on a terrace overlooking the whole of Florence. Traditional meal, antipasto of sliced salumni and cheeses served with small fried dough balls. Choice of pastas or soups followed by a choice of roasted chicken or beef. Dolce and choice of coffee, grappa or vin santo. Nice house wines very well priced plus a wine list. Everything nicely... We here stayed 2 nights. A very good location, easy to park the car, friendly staff. Room was good and clean. W can also recommend the restaurant where we had dinner the first night. Prices are fair, and you can sit both inside and outside. Breakfast is fine with lots of choices. The second evening we had finner in Terrazze... More

My wife and I stayed here for a few nights in late May. It was a wonderful experience in every aspect. The location with the view from the terrace from the hills over Florence is magical at any time of the day. Rooms very elegant and comfortable, nicely renovated to very high standards. No disturbing noise, only some lovely birdsong.... More

This is a special location with a great staff. After a sticky day walking the crowded streets, waiting in lines and climbing the stairs of the Duomo in Firenze, you can relax at the top of the hill with a great meal, a wonderful breeze and a cool drink on the terrace while overlooking the valley. The dinner was very... More

We had a fabulous stay at Villa Fiesole Hotel. The hotel staff are amazing, warm, service oriented people. We planned my 50th birthday party celebration and it was a beautiful evening with eight of our Italian friends who live in Florence. We were all very impressed with every moment of the evening. The food in the restaurant is excellent as... More

I just spent 4 nights here with my daughter. We arrived late in the evening and were shown to a room in the old part of the hotel. It was large but rather tired in its decoration, and I was disappointed given the photos of the hotel on TripAdvisor. I went down to the desk and told them I wasn't... More

We liked this hotel a lot. It is outside Florence, about a mile from the village of Fiesole. There is a bus that runs to both Florence & Fiesole pretty often. The only part we didn't like about that is you have to stand on a very busy street with essentially nowhere to stand waiting for the bus. Also, coming... More

The Hotel location is perfect, perched on one of the hills overlooking Florence. It's a quick taxi ride into the centre of Florence but will cost you 40 Euros - ouch! However there is a regular bus which stops just outside of the hotel which costs 3 Euros! The views are are beautiful and its lovely and peaceful. I would... More

This hotel has a fabulous feeling, surrounded by hills as other hotels and houses are hidden by the local flora. The large bedroom has 12ft ceilings with a fresco painting. The large bedroom and bathroom windows open out to over look Florence. The breakfast is fabulous has lots of options with champagne and again great views over looking Florence. A nicely... More

Quaint out of the way hotel tucked away on a hillside overlooking Florence. Nice outdoor seating for breakfast. Large rooms, no elevators or lifts. High ceiling rooms with large bathrooms and a tub. Breakfast had good variety but bacon barely looked warm, let alone cooked. Staff was very helpful especially front desk manager. Street noise if your room faces the... More
