We booked this hotel with an eye on a relaxing break between cities. Unfortunately, the only high points were the views from the outside of the hotel were and the staff who were all wonderful. The room and shower were small, the mattress a rock but worst of all the air conditioner was significantly inadequate during what were hot (but... More

We travelled here after three hectic days in Rome, and appreciated the peace and quiet of this hotel! Truly beautiful, breathtaking in fact. W(e didn't want to leave to move on to Venice.) The rooms, pool, setting, and above all the restaurant! We ate lunch, dinner, breakfast there, why go elsewhere? Everything was perfect, our 11-year old granddaughter is already... More

Nice hotel in quiet location.lovely views over Florence. Our room was in a separate building from the main hotel. The room was spacious with adequate storage space and cleaned to a high standard every day. Breakfast was displayed very well and consisted of hot and cold choices including a choice of meats, cheeses cereals and fruits. The only negative comment... More

We have been in the hotel for only two days. The location is perfect to overlooking Florence. Price for the rooms is too expensive for what you get. We ordered some Prosecco but no icecubes available to cool it. Swimmingpool is very little and the water was hot!

I stayed at this hotel as part of a Gate 1 Travel package. Situated on a quiet hilltop, the view of nearby Florence is breathtaking. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a small heated pool. The only thing stopping me from a 5 star rating is the food. Surprisingly unremarkable in a region known for it's cuisine.

My wife and I have been at the hotel for one day so far.We enjoyed the tranquil terrazza over looking all of old Florence from this serene spot in the hills of Fiesole just 20 mins by bus from San Marco plaza. The breakfast was quite delicious and the dinner last night very tasty. Room 203 has an excellent view... More

I booked a night here last week. I booked last min and managed to get a good deal. My room was ok, I didn't like the view out on to the terrace but it was a discounted room. The bed was comfortable and I was happy for the aircon! Breakfast was poor. warm yogurt and hard pineapple not anything to... More

The place is very well located. Overlooking Florence from the hill side it is nice to be there to enjoy your visit to the city earlier in the day or preparing your visit in the morning at breakfast. The staff is very nice and helpful. We had some trouble with our return flight and the staff made our longer stay... More

Lovely small hotel between San Domenico and Fiesole. Rooms have a view down to Firenze and are comfortable, clean and well-appointed. The common rooms are small. The breakfast room is a tight fit, but if the sun is out the terrace is a fabulous spot for taking a meal or drink. The biggest drawback for a woman is that the... More

We stayed here for a quick trip to Florence having driven from Pisa. The hotel communal areas were nice and gave the impression of quality. Be aware that the breakfast room inside is very small and it is likely you may have to wait; the view however is gorgeous so try and get a seat near the window if you... More
