Our family stayed at the Vinegia apartment. It was spacious and had everything we needed including a washing machine. The apartment was quiet and in a great location. They gave us a map of the city and marked out other tourist points (came in handy). They helped us take our bags to the apartment, gave us a tour of the... More

It was very good. It is near to the city centre. You can walk to see the tourist attractions of Florence because everything is close to the apartment. There was free wifi. The gallery is the best. It is very special and modern apartment. The kitchen was small but it was really practical.

The service and the location of the flat were spotless. You can then wander in Florence just by walking, since you are at the heart of the city. The equipement of the appartment is correct. The only drawback is that the master bedroom gives onto via del Calzaiuoli, a main pedestrian avenue, and the noise insulation is ineffective: it is... More

We could not have been happier with our choice to stay here! From the moment we were greeted at check-in, given suggestions for things to see and where to eat, to being shown to our apartment, having our luggage carried for us, having a personal tour of the very large apartment ... everything could have not been more perfect! Plenty... More

You do need to be fit to climb the stairs with luggage but you have been warned! It is worth the climb. It is a comfortable apartment, including the sofa bed, and suited our party of 5 adults. Easy to walk everywhere including to and from the station.

We spent 2 nights in a flat placed in one of the most walked street in Florence, rich of pubs, shops and xmas lights. The apartment was new and really confortable. I suggest F.A. as for family as for groups of friends.

We were just literally a stone's throw away from the Uffizi museum and not far from the Duomo either. If you've done your research, you'll know that the "best panini" in Florence comes from a place called I Due Fratellini , which is located on the very same street the office is! The rooms were nice and comfortable, well-furnished and... More

Staying in Duomo

Neighborhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
