I have recently stayed for 3 nights with my husband and 3 small kids (ages 2, 5 and 7) in the Four Seasons Firenze. It is situated in a very quiet area but still close enough to all the touristy attractions (we walked everywhere). The staff made sure we were comfortable and happy every minute of our stay. Since we... More

Four Seasons Firenze is everything you could dream your Tuscan hotel could be. Gorgeous gardens, impeccable palazzo, Michelin food, walking distance to the city center. This is our 3rd stay at this property and I wish my husband would just let me move in. Seriously, everyone is so...they're all like my new bff's when we are there. My suitcase was... More

Booked this hotel for a European vacation for our anniversary. As we entered, I was struck by the ambiance of the amazing property. Our check-in was handled wonderfully with the staff offering Am Ex upgrade options and mentioning our anniversary. Our room was huge was a nice view of the massive gardens. Large bathroom with large shower and separate tub.... More

A wonderful place to stay or even just have a quick lunch in an exclusive atmosphere. Great garden. Convenient location. Excellent service. Expensive but fully worth it. No compromise quality. High expectations will be met.

My partner and I stayed at the Four Seasons for 2 nights for my birthday and it literally couldn't have been better! Everyone was so welcoming & the staff left a bottle of prosecco and a cake in our room for my birthday, which was absolutely lovely! There's also warm mulled wine in the foyer which you can help yourself... More

Amazingly beautiful and large room, amazing service, beautiful garden, 15 min walk to the city attractions. By far one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The bar area was very cozy and had great food. I had the nicest pancakes for breakfast - you could ask the chef to make anything on... More

This property is as good as it gets in Florence, or indeed anywhere. A park-like resort setting(outdoor pool and eating area in summer) and the most beautiful enormous garden, yet only a 7 minute stroll to the central sites in Florence. We spent Christmas there, and I would love to be able to do it again sometime. The hotel was... More

We stayed in the Four Seasons at Florence for 2 nights at the junior suite. The suite was beautiful and spacious and had a nice balcony overlooking the private garden.. The location is fantastic, can be reached with your own car and at the same time is within a short walking distance from the city center and all the monuments.... More

Staying in San Marco

Neighborhood Profile
San Marco
The pleasant atmosphere of this residential area, a stone’s throw away from the Duomo of Florence, surprises everyone. A continuous flow of backpacking students provides the tranquil surroundings for the elderly residents who sit in Piazza San Marco to read the daily newspaper. Home to several universities, including the Academy of Fine Arts, San Marco is one of the most vibrant cultural centers in the city. A bridge connecting the modern cultural activity of Florence to its classic art, represented by the everlasting magnificence of the original David, resonates as a symbol of Florence and of Italy as a whole. Get lost in a Neoclassic world, a journey back in time through historic buildings like Spedale degli Innocenti (Hospital of the Innocents), San Marco church, Basilica della Santissima Annunziata, and natural jewels like the Botanical Gardens.
