Having been to Florence several times I appreciated the 10 minute walk to a quiet neighborhood. Slept well in a large, immaculate room. Sylvia is so charming and recommended great places to eat. Will definitely stay ther again.

We've been to lovely Florence many times and this cute place is in a close, quiet residential area. A close walk about 10 minutes into all the highlights in Florence. The rooms are large and very clean. Breakfast is included in room rate, which was very fair. My only complaint is that coffee is my regular morning ritual, and this...

Like other reviewers, a split review. No complaints at all about the hostess who was charming and helpful throughout, and no serious complaints about the B+B either; if it had cost less Euro's it might have got 4 'stars'.
The position is OK - it's nice and quiet but a little too far from the centre, maybe 10 minutes if...

Me and a group of 4 other friends stayed at La Notte Blu and it was awesome. Your host Sylvia was so nice and helpful esp with our itinerary. Her restaurant recommendations were incredible. The location is great for walking to many of Florence's main attractions. The rooms were large and clean. When I get back to Florence I will...

Sylvia, the hostess, made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. She helped us with our itinerary and gave us tips for restaurants and sights. I'm not a fan of European breakfast but hers was great! Her freshly baked carrot cupcakes really made my day. The room was basic but adequate and we had no complaints.
I have to say it pains me to give an average rating for this property because as others have written, Sylvia, the owner is the nicest and most helpful person you could meet.
I chose this property based on the glowing reviews of others and to save a few bucks. First if you are coming by train and have rolling...

My husband & I stayed here mid June 2011. Sylvia is a wonderful host - she recommended & booked restaurants for us and also allowed me use of her laptop every day. Our room was large, clean & comfortable. Bathroom was small but perfectly adequate. Our room had access to a shared balcony which was great to come back to...

B&B La Notte Blu is a bed and breakfast run by Sylvia, who was wonderful. She is very pleasant, aims to keep guests happy, provides information & recommendations, bakes great fresh muffins and bread daily, and interacts with her guests. On the day i arrived, she stayed late to greet me and made me aware that various museums/galleries were open...

Though we weren't fans of Firenze, we can def say that Sylvia is the nicest and most accomodating person we met during our 10 day trip to Italy... we love her. She took great care of us and helped us with sights and places to eat (try Zsa Zsas). She also helped us book our tour of Tuscany, Sienna. Although...

La Notte Blu is slightly off the beaten track in a city filled with tourists. It's a short walk from all the attractions yet in a location where you don't run into the tourists. It is clean and comfortable although the shower is extremely small and oddly has a slanted floor. But when we mentioned this to Sylvia she ran...
