A nice feel to this guesthouse which is in the heart of Florence meaning that all the sites you'd like to visit are walkable. The room was spacious and we had a private bathroom. Only real downside was that there were 4 of us and nowhere to really hang towels. The breakfast was in a bar in the next street... More

Spacious room for family of 4, and great quiet location around the corner from the dome. Impressed by the painting in the ceiling. Staff gave great tip to restaurant nearby. Breakfast voucher at Reverse cafe also nice experience.

Beautiful room, but no top sheet on bed first night and had to go asking for coffee powder as none left in rooms on both occasions, other than that ok , room was noisy at night into early hours from people outside the building but thats the price for being right in the heart of it all. A little difficult... More

My friend and I stayed here, as our other accommodation in Florence had given away our room. (One night here and one night in a sister B&B Black5) And for a last minute booking it was a great stay. Rooms were very clean - bathroom was lovely, service was amazing (very friendly staff) and breakfast in the morning was fantastic.... More

Apart from location, cannot really say anything good about it. Very poor service and it did not indicate there are many flights of stairs to get up. Yes, with bags it's torture. We ordered the breakfast on the day we arrived but would like to cancel in the afternoon but could not get hold of the staff at all. We... More

The hotel is very unique and height of each floor is higher than what I expected but without lift. With my partner, we have three big luggages and I have to bring them up to the second floor by myself without any help from the owner. I did not feel comfortable when he just watched a poor guy carrying three... More

We were in Florence on business during June and decided to stay for 3 nights. As other accommodation in Florence during that week was super expensive, this seemed like a bargain. It was good value as we discovered and well located near the Duomo. Apart from the many flights of stairs to get up (with bags it's a nightmare) and... More

The best thing about N4U is its location, and the rooms are authentic and clean with a very comfortable bed. Our room was particularly noisy! Every day at 6am the garbage collection would wake us up and we could hear each guest coming in and out of the place. Our bathroom was located at the other end of the corridor.... More

Very unique place to stay in Florence. Located in a very cool building on the sixth floor. No lift, so be prepared to hike up like 70 stairs. The rooms are all very unique and each has it's own atmosphere. We had a mural on our ceiling that was amazing. Do not expect any type of service here. The odd... More

The B&B's rooms are impressive, with a stylish decoration and very clean. It is located in the heart of the old town (could not be better!) and the staff is extraordinarily friendly. Breakfast is okay-ish but in my opinion too expensive; however the room is very good value for Money, thus the complete package is a good deal! I'll definitely... More

Staying in Duomo

Neighborhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
