Where do I start? I feel bad writing this review because the owner is a nice man. However, I have to be honest. The room itself is okay, clean and big. However, the acoustic of this place is terrible.. By 7 am you are woken up by people talking, getting in the bathroom, yelling, entering the kitchen, cleaning.. I don't... More

5 Sensi was a great place to stay- clean, with a great host. Stefano offered us a cappuccino/coffee even though we were not paying for breakfast. Our room was very spacious, with a great wine shop and bakery in the near vicinity. The location of 5 Sensi was a little distant from the city center, but we were fine with... More

Don't be put off if you look at a map and think this is too far from the centre because it's not. It's a great location. Close to a bus route if that's your preference otherwise a delightful walk into the centre. Head off down Via Bartolomeo and a pleasant 20 min walk will take you to the Accademia (stopping... More

As mentioned in other reviews, Stefano was brilliant. Email communication prior to arrival were very helpful. He gave us a call after the estimate arrival time we gave as he was concern as to where we were. Stefano was a great source of tourist information, recommending 10 trip bus tickets that can be picked up from the tobacco store down... More

Cinque Sensi is a lovely place to stay in Florence. The owner, Stefano, is very easy to deal with and is remarkably friendly and helpful. He offered us a cappuccino upon arrival in Florence- much appreciated after an early morning train ride! The rooms are large and in a beautiful building. We had heard others complain about noise in the... More

For our first trip in Florence, I was looking for a clean, affordable accommodation in a safe and not too touristy area. B&B 5 Sensi met our expectations. It is a bit far from the Old town but the 20mn walk is pleasant and allowed us to discover the neighborhood away from the hordes of tourists. We discovered an excellent... More

We stayed there for 3 nights. Booked online, fairly easy to find with public transport. Not so close to the Old Town, but a 20minute walk through the streets of Florence is always welcome, at least for us it was. Every room is very nicely decorated. The building is old and beautiful. Very quiet as well, which cannot be said... More

We had a lovely 2-night stay here. It is not right in the heart of the sights in Florence, but it is an easy walk (about 15 minutes) or bus ride. Stefano was very helpful in orienting us to the city and ensuring that we had the room we wanted (I had asked for a quiet room). He also offered... More

A short bus ride from the center of Florence, we found the Cinque Sensi a very nice place to get away from the hustle of the city after a full day of sightseeing and walking. We stayed at the Cinque Sensi for a total of six nights. The room was large, clean and well maintained. We shared a bath, but... More

The B&B was a recommendation of a friend due to its location near to the city centre and a fair price. It is a flat in an apartment house with five rooms. Two of them have a one bathroom the others used the commons bathrooms. The rooms are designed individually and they were cleaned every day. Air-conditioning is missing so... More
