5 minutes from ponte vecchio, 10 minutes from michaelangelo square, 10 minutes from the Duomo. Beautiful city views from the terrace and views of the Tuscan countryside away in the hills. Excellent service, reasonably priced, staff always on hand to help. Well decorated throughout, authentic feeling. Simple but tasty breakfast. Generally spot on.

We have just returned from a three night stay at this marvellous hotel, all of the staff were friendly and helpful. Our flight home was cancelled at the last minute because of Italian air traffic control and they went out of there way to reassure us we could stay until there was a flight home but we decided we wanted... The car park was a bit unusual, but this is a new experience, so we embraced it. Our room was a tad small on the American scale, but cozy, clean and just right on our scale. Slept wonderfully and the hotel is very quiet. The staff was helpful, courteous and was willing to help us in any way. Breakfast was... More

I spent a few days with my wife and it was just like having a ROOM WITH A VIEW. Amazing experience. I really recommend it!!! The breakfast was really good, and we were very close to the most important monuments of that enjoyable city.

We spent 3 nights in this charming hotel. Great location, just over the river, and but a 15 minute walk to the Duomo. Reception is on the 1st floor, off a quaint courtyard (there is a lift). Friendly, helpful front desk staff. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the river is delightful. Typical Continental Breakfast buffet.....so anyone who leaves hungry isn't... More

We spent 6 mights at this hotel (our second visit) and thoroughly enjoyed being there. We opted a "Deluxe" room and were put in Room 38. It is in the back of the hotel which we didn't mind, and it was very spacious and looked as though it had been freshly painted and that the bathroom had been refurbished. Breakfast... More

We loved this hotel, we were traveling around Italy and this hotel was very impressive compared to the rest, the rooms were huge compared to the others we stayed in during our trip. We had a very comfortable stay for 4 days. Breakfast was just according to Florence, delicious!!! Location was just as great, there were a few restaurants and... More

We stayed at the Silla Hotel for 7 nights in August. It is a great location on the quite side of the Arno River - meaning you are out of the Florence craziness. There is a very small elevator that is located on the first floor - you must use the stairs to get to the elevator. So be aware... More

Hotel Silla is just across the Arno from the Uffizi Gallery and is close to the Pitti Palace, Pontevecchio and Piazzale Michelangelo. All of Florence is within walking distance! The front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. Laura and the breakfast staff made great cappuccino and made sure the buffet was continually well supplied with fresh fruits, croissants, meats,... Silla has been our favorite hotel on this trip. Staff is friendly & knowledgeable. Our room was massive, comfortable, well-equipped. Breakfast was ample & delicious. We enjoyed being out of the crowded city a bit. Walking up the hill behind the hotel provided a great view.
