This place is more like staying in a room in someone's apartment rather than a hotel. Bearing in mind that it is a 1 star rated 'hotel'...ALSO at the time we stayed there, building works were being carried out beside this hotel. Once 730am arrived, the pneumatic drilling didn't stop. Pros Location, location, location Clean Decent Wifi Staff were pleasant... More

This place is located just across the Piazza del Mercato. Just past the Piazza della Repubblica. It was very simple place to keep your things. The staff was very helpful. There is a shower in the rooms but no bathroom in the rooms. The rooms were big enough to match the price and location.

Do not expect more for a 1 star cheap room. if you ll stay short (1-2 days), it is enough. just be carefull about booking a room with a wc :) internet is fast and it is clean. all ok. the best part is, it is located in the best part of the city. it is in the back of... More

The entrance of the building is not good at all. But it's located just by the side of Piazza della Signoria. The room is kind of small but great for its price. I really recommend this hotel for a weekend. Plus... free wifi.

We recently stayed 2 nights in October 2015. The location is close to the train station. €10 euro by taxi (average) or 15-20 min walk. It is a very close to many shopping (H&M is opposite) and uffizzi gallery. The staff was very helpful and gave good recommendations for restaurants etc.. They were also willing to hold our luggage on... More

We had a good stay. The location of the hotel is in the center of Firenze. The building is right in front of the market, h&m and lots of shops/ restaurants around. Close to museums and all sights. If you are exhausted from all the walking in Italy this is the place to stay. The room had a good view... More

My fiancé and I stayed here for 1 night in April 2015. The location can't be beat in terms of centrality, but please do keep in mind that Firenze is a small town and really nothing within the tourist center is more than a 15 minute walk! The staff here was very nice and printed our Uffizi tickets for us... More

What was good: - Location is awesome, you can't ask for more. Food, attractions are nearby. Ufizzi and Pl. Signoria are around the corder. Ponto Veccio is 300m down the street. And you can easily get to Ufizzi at 8:15, so no need to spend money on pre-booking - Staff was very helpful - Great if you need basic facilities... More

Staying in Uffizi

Neighborhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
