Beautifully situated on the river, close walk to metro, and not far from airport or train station. We got a taxi from the Peretola/Vespucci airport, approximately 20 euro. Was warmly greeted by Juliet and shown around the resort. The layout of the grounds are amazing, the design of our room #7 was quiet, cozy and romantic. Nice touch to have... More

16 of us stayed at Riva Lofts in Florence and it was the best. We had the entire place to ourselves for 7 wonderful days. It was everything I imagined it to be and more. It was one of the best trips we've ever taken and it had a lot to do with the great staff, wonderful service, chic rooms,... More

My daughter and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Riva Lofts in Florence and can honestly say it was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome and the architecture and design of the hotel was gorgeous in a beautiful garden setting by the river.... More

Riva Lofts has bucket-loads of designer chic and it's a real oasis away from the frantic tourism of Florence. Rooms ('studios') are relatively expensive and there's sometimes a feeling of design over function. We stayed in #9, which looked like an attractive proposition as it's split-level and has an entrance from the garden. Although the upstairs sleeping area was excellent... More

My partner and I stayed for 3 nights and just loved the Riva Lofts. We will absolutely stay there the next time we're in Florence and will recommnend it to all of our friends. Don't be concerned about the location. True - its not in the center of town, but that's one of the best things about it! The tram... More

A short cycle or tram ride from the centre of bustling Florence. This place feels like a calm oasis. We had two interconnecting suites for 5 of us and the children were made very welcome. The decoration is comfortable, thoughtful and chic and a real contrast to renaissance Florence. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. There is no restaurant... More

We stayed for three nights at the Riva Lofts at the start of our honeymoon and from the word go we felt really welcomed. The staff were really friendly and helpful at all times. They recommended a range of great places to eat and visit in and around Florence. We liked how the Riva team had thought of the nice... More

As a rule we never travel during high season, so this recent trip was a big exception. I was fortunate to be invited to stay at Riva Lofts at the end of a very busy week in and around Florence. Although the weather was unseasonably hot, this place was cool from the get go. Serene and artful grounds and rooms... More

I stayed at Riva lofts for a week in August with my girlfriend and honestly, I don't really have anything bad to say about the place. We were welcomed by an extremely friendly and helpful staff. Do you need a recommendation for a restaurant or bar? Do you want to book a table at a restaurant? ... They'll do it... More

To an extent we took the hotel due to availabity problems as it was not in the centre of the city.We chose well though. It ticked all the boxes. It was quiet, air conditioned and out of the hustle and bustle of the town but still next to the river. We borrowed their bikes and peddled into town which takes 10 minuites and... More
