Riva lofts is an amazing place set close to the city but yet far enough away that you feel like you are staying in the countryside. The rooms are well appointed with plenty of room, the tram ride to the city was very quick and simple, and Alice the general manager is fantastic with a wealth of information when it... More

A totally amazing experience. Juliette in reception truly helped to make our holiday memorable, she took time to explain places to see and eat to enhance our stay. We fell in love with Vecchi Bottola a recommended restaurant. We felt like a local in the end. Riva is literally only a 3 minute tram ride and you can collect your... More

As all the review say this place is a great property, modern rooms with everything you need. Its set a little out of town however we preferred this to staying in the very touristy and noisy centre of Florence. Getting a tram or a cab is very easy into the centre. The only complaint I had was that check-in time... More

This place is really lovely, set on the river about 20 minutes outside of Florence and have a very peaceful feel about it. It would have got a 5 star, but when we arrived at 3pm (check in is 2pm) our room wasn't ready - even though they had emailed to find out what time we were arriving - we... More

My wife and I were in desperate need of a holiday. As I sit on the plane on the way home I realize what an important part of our experience in Florence the Riva Lofts were. We unexpectedly  feel more rested than we ever have felt visiting a city. We stayed there for three nights at the beginning and four... More

My wife and I stayed at Riva Lofts for a week while we were in Florence. I cannot say enough about how amazing the hotel was. The staff was so helpful and provided us with some great suggestions for shopping and restaurants. The beautiful grounds allowed my wife and I to truly relax on our vacation. We will definitely be... If you enjoy staying in Boutique Hotels as opposed to the typical global chains, then this is the one for you. Staff are super friendly and would go out of the way to help make your stay more pleasant in any way they can. Location wise: 10min tram ride from the City Center, and maybe a 5 minute walk to... It may be a bit out of the centre of Florence (half hour pleasant walk along the river or 5 mins on the tram) but well worth it - the transformation from what used to be working buildings into its current form as a peacuful luxurious secluded hideaway makes for a carefree and rather romantic stay. They have a real... More

Me and my fiance had the pleasure to spend a couple of days in Florence during easter. I can easily say that the staff at Riva Lofts made all the difference to our trip. The hotel itself exeded our expectation by far, impeccable arcitecture and design, beautiful location just by the river, fantastic food (they held a traditional Italian easter-picknic... More

As soon as you step through the glass door you are immediately in a different place. It's as if you just left your busy world behind you. Peace after all! And nevertheless you are only footsteps away from a gorgeous town filled with world heritage Renaissance architecture, statues frozen in time, narrow streets in a medieval maze, local trattorias, fashion...
