Perhaps I'm a little old fashioned but I found this hotel a little cold after the Tuscan luxe we had become accustomed to. It is very modern in design, grey walls, open plan rooms, curtains for walls, but it felt a little industrial. It's a very well run little place and service was helpful and knowledgable but perhaps a little... More

We booked three 2-person appartments in september after making a carefull selection of all available options in Florence. Ultimately we chose Riva Lofts because of the design and it's location close to the center. A week before arriving the staff made all the requested lunch and dinner reservations I requested and provided me with suggestions for others that weren't available.... More

An oasis out of the chaos of touristing - tranquil, green, space and yet so close to everything. The staff have been the most amazing we have found in Italy - nothing was too much trouble. Clean, comfortable, spacious and modern design - a very special place to stay. A pool and garden to relax and enjoy after a hard... More

My husband and I recently booked Riva Lofts for our three-night stay in Florence. We were looking for something more modern and classy than the gilt kitsch and cramped hotels we kept coming across and we wanted to be slightly out of the core tourist area. Riva Lofts turned out to be perfect. It is a secure, small collection of... More

I stumbled upon this villa on Mr & Mrs Smith (one of the greatest sites for finding hidden gems) and it exceeded my expectations beyond belief. The lovely lady at check in was super helpful with providing tips on where the locals eat, drink and shop. Management left a bottle of wine and a few little goodies for us as... More

Situated on the river and opposite parks - this is a great location and a 20min walk along the riverbanks to all of Florence's many sights. This is an oasis of calm for a well earned retreat. Small garden and pool for sunbathing. Great continental breakfast. We had 2 rooms and stayed for 4nights. Staff recommended good variety of restuarants... More

Nice place, good location only 4 tram stops away from the city center. I will come back. Very clean, decorated with contemporary taste. Fine large bed, large bathroom. Fast wifi. Unfortunately.... I have booked a studio de luxe. There is no window where I can actually look outside. The large window has opaque glass, I feel a bit claustrophobic, and... More

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Riva Lofts, and stayed for the weekend with our family (12 altogether). This hotel is amazing, so so pretty. It is like a little oasis in the city. We stayed in Loft 8, which was amazing. I think its the best hotel room we have ever stayed in. It was like... More

Stayed here for one night in May with my boyfriend. We originally wanted one of the loft rooms but they were all fully booked. We had a lovely deluxe room though which was very spacious only thing I didn't like about it was that it was cold and also the shower had no curtain or door and splashed water everywhere... More

We stayed at the Riva Lofts in Florence and we just loved it. The owners daughter Alice was just lovely and helpful. She was extremely welcoming and the actual lofts are just fantastic. They are a short walk to the trams to get in to the centre of Florence (max 10 min walk) which means you have a tranquel place... More
