Great position, gorgeous room and bathroom, very nice and professional service. What's negative? piazza san firenze is quite noisy late at night and early in the morning. There is no breakfast in the B&B, but an agreement with a bar nearby. Car parking is far away but the pick-up service is well arranged.

The hotel is nice and convenient. However although we paid in advance for the booking the hotel insisted on taking my credit card details when we arrived. When I subsequently got my credit card bill I found they had double charged me for the room. I queried it with them and they promised to credit my account with a refund... More

The apartments are good sized with separate living area from bedroom and are very clean. Ours even had a washer to do laundry! Great location right next to the palazzo vecchio and 5 mins walk to the duomo and the uffizi! Very friendly staff as well.

Beautifully appointed, spacious room with comfortable bed, and sitting area, with a view of the plaza. Only issue was with the breakfast next door; It was not open early (730/8am) when we had tours scheduled. The location is very close to all the major sites (two blocks from Palazzo Vecchio), and not far from the train station.

Bad news about this hotel, no lift. Everything else was perfect. It is close to the Duomo, and it was a very lovely hotel. The staff was kind and helpful and the room was nice. There was a location for breakfast just downstairs. We would definitely go back. No view though...

The B&B is at the heart of Florence; a few minutes away from Palazzo Vecchio, Duomo...you name it! The receptionist was very kind and helpful and the room was spotless. Bed sheets and towels were changed on a frequent basis and they provide free water as well. All in all it was a wonderful experience except for checkout - basically... More

This B&B is quite expensive but the room we had was magnificent you could have lived in it. There was a sofa very large bed, bureau, desk, 2very large wardrobes and plenty of room besides. The bathroom was spotless. However the downside was our room was not cleaned the beds not made no fresh towels, I did not say anything... More

We stayed for three nights in this gorgeous accommodation. The room was probably the nicest that I have stayed in anywhere in Italy. The room was large and well furnished with a very large and luxurious bathroom. The location, right in the centre of Florence, couldn't be better. The accommodation is just the room and all meals are taken elsewhere.... More

This is a B & B that is a little bit pricey, but worth it. The location is excellent. Walking distance to all landmarks and many wonderful restaurants. Good deal on breakfast in a little cafe two doors down. Need to walk up on medium flight of stairs to the elevator. We had a room facing the piazza and though... More

Staying in Uffizi

Neighborhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
