The train station is 3 minutes away. As well as the bus station. Supermarket is 1 minute away. Pharmacy is 3 minutes away. 24/24 Mc Donalds is 2 minutes away. Everything you may need is exactly there! Piazza del Duomo is 8-9 minutes away. All the distances have been calculated on foot! It is in the centre of everything. The... More

Location was excellent as we were using the train. We had the apartment in the courtyard and it was nice and quiet. Décor had a pleasant, traditional feel. Air conditioning in both rooms was great as we where there during high temperatures.

Had booked this hotel for two nights, unfortunately due to a maintenance issue, we were relocated to another hotel for the first night. The substitute hotel is ' ON PAPER' a 3 star hotel, but proved to be sub standard in every respect ( see separate review). I have taken my frustration and associated issues up with management of the... More

The hotel is located accross the road from the train station on a busy street. Grabbing a meal was never a problem because of the large number of restaurants around. The staff was very helpful in recommending some great restaurants close by. We were in the room next to the stairs. The room is decently sized with a big bathroom... More

Pros: 1. Location: very close to the train station on one side, and market on the other side. There is an excellent supermarket on the other side of the road. 5 minutes of brisk walking brings one to the Duomo. 2. Breakfast: eggs (scrambled and hard), hot sausage, cold meat, cheese (hard and soft), yoghurt, rolls and bread, cake, teas... More

Per other reviews, the bed and pillows were quite hard, but this wasn't a problem for us, I just didn't use a pillow. My other half is 190cm and had no issues with the size of the bed. The room was a reasonable size, spacious bathroom and decent wardrobe space. We had a room on the 2nd floor by the... More

Dear Guest, we inform you that all our windows are double glazed and all our mattresses are new. We cannot understand the reason you do not sleep well. Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighborhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo’s lively merchants shout out from behind stalls with an array of products in one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Florence. Different ethnic groups join together in the large outdoor market of San Lorenzo and in the Central Market, a vast multi-floored building. Visitors are bound to fall in love with this area and in particular, with its variety of food, especially those focusing on Florentine dishes as well as international selections. Nobody leaves San Lorenzo without a shopping bag in hand or with an empty stomach.
