The positives about this back packer hostel were the elevator (at last, no lugging heavy bags up multiple flights of stairs), the laundry, and most of all the atmosphere, and the warmth and friendliness of Samantha who is the heart and soul of the hostel and the unofficial tour advisor. Her breakfasts were just wonderful and nothing was any trouble... More

Excellent place. We loved the hostel. The service was also very good and we enjoyed the breakfast as well. Location is excellent and centrally located, yet avoids the noise of the tourists around. More

I loved the service, the smiles and the helpful tips except the last tip. We were told that we could get on the bus and pay 2 euro heading to the train station. My friend and I ended up being fined 55 euro each on our way to the train station. So the false information put us in a really... More

There are so many things about this hostel that make your heart sing, for the 21 day traveling, staying in 7 hostels, this is the best bar none. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by Matteo and Samantha, they gave me the espresso and sat me down for breakfast, they made me feel like a part of... More

I spent three nights this hostel in June 2011 and choosing to stay here was a really great decision. In an otherwise expensive city, I paid only €28 per night (a really competitive price) for a bed in a 6 bed dormitory (the dorm had its own bathroom and shower, and the use of another bathroom outside of the room... We felt like we were being greeted and cared for by friends from the moment my 78 year old mother-in-law and I arrived. From the cappachino waiting for us to the special Easter cake served in the morning, we felt more like guests than weary travelers. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the breakfast in the morning had a... More

My friend and I stayed in this hostel while in Florence. We had a room with 4 or 5 other females. I was lucky because every girl in the room was very friendly and considerate of other people. The room was about 28 Euros a night which I thought was worth it. The room was very clean and had a... More

This hostel is a lovely place, staffed by friendly helpful staff. The rooms were clean, the bathrooms were spotless and the breakfast was good, including excellent coffee. Our only complaint were the bedbugs that attacked one of our party. To the hostel's credit, they dealt with the problem promptly and were very apologetic when we told them, and they left... More

What could I expect, having never had the need to stay at a hostel before. But ever since they're not exclusive to backpackers any longer and are becoming trendy and acceptable to everyone during the past few years, I really was eager for the experience. My student son treated me with a visit for Mother's Day to Italy & Florence... More
