When I originally checked in, I was given a room with a shared bathroom, even though I had booked an ensuite. I was told to wait the next day to speak with Marco. Because it was late, I was tired, and everything else seemed to match expectations, I made no fuss and was switched the following day. Apparently hostelworld's online... More

This is by far the best hostel we have stayed in. My friend and I shared a room and a bathroom with two other girls. It was clean and decent. The rooms were cleaned everyday. The staffs working at the hostel are very helpful and pleasant! Lovely people! Everything is within walking distance!

We booked a double private room with ensuite bathroom. We were first given a room with a private external bathroom with two single beds and weren't happy. Original staff member who had checked us in had just left so we spoke with a female colleague she was very helpful even though she was very busy and changed our room to... More

I had a great experience in this hostel. Staff was very friendly and knew all there is to do in florence. You just have to ask them what you want to do and that's it. The room was nice but i always recommend to bring earplugs if you are going to share a room. One night though the ac was... More

My husband & I stayed here for 4 nights on our visit to Florence and Tuscany. We got in the Hostel from the station by Bus and short walk. The building was hard to find with little signage. We walked into the hostel building however were put up in the next building as it housed the private rooms. Were allotted... More

This was my first stay in a hostel and I was a bit nervous beforehand, but upon arriving my nerves calmed. The staff were friendly and helpful, they were eager to give a city map and offer suggestions. Room was cleaned daily and quite thoroughly. AC worked, no problem. Lockers in the room were secure. They provided the lock with... More

The location of the hostel is perfect in my opinion situated away from the busy tourist center. There are frequent buses to the train station, city center, and Michelangelo piazza. the latter I would recommend as on a previous visit to Florence I have walked it and it's somewhat exhausting. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive, they gave excellent... More

Firstly staff were really great - friendly and helpful especially with directions and suggestions. The location was good but be prepared to walk a lot which is the norm for Florence. About a ten minute walk to main square, about 5 to galleria dell academia (for statue of David). There is a bus stop out the front though if you... More

My girlfriend (32) and I (29) took the double private ensuite. Well situated in a quiet area, just 10 mins walk from city centre and 20 mins walk from train station. We loved our stay here, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was big, clean and beds comfortable. Beautiful terrasse and very generous breakfast available with many... More

There are no screens and where it is located there are tons of mosquitos! We left our window open the first night cause there is no AC. We awoke around 4am and spent about an hour killing about 4 dozen of them, after being eaten alive already. We later discovered the bug repellent device, which you have to get the... More
