Allessandro will welcome you to his hotel and welcome you stay as if it's your own home. There is a kitchen/dining area where you can prepare your own food if you like. The breakfast was filling. Bread rolls, Coffee, Tea, a couple kinds of juices, cereal. You will find the Duomo just steps from the front door. Located very close... more

You can't beat the location for this place, especially for the price. You are steps from the Duomo and minutes from several other must-see attractions. Still, it is quiet and cozy. Rooms are beautifully decorated with a modern elegance. Alessandro, the owner, is very personable and helpful with reservations, restaurant recommendations, and general Florence information. Breakfast was the same every... more

My boyfriend and I were surprised to find this hotel tucked away in the middle of the city center.. Of all the cities we visited (Rome, Siena, Florence + Venice), this was my favorite hotel by far. Not only is this the most central location you'll find (did i mention the proximity to the duomo!), the service is impeccable. Alessandro... more

A really great Bed and Breakfast. It's located right next to the Duomo, so you'll hardly ever get lost trying to find it. Alessandro is an excellent host and is very helpful with restaurants / travel suggestions. There is a small but informative library. They have a great service attitude and are very welcoming. On our recent trip to Italy,... more

This little place is amazing. Very very friendly, spotlessly clean, modern rooms, but the best thing was the location location location. Food recommendations were brilliant. Try Trattoria Marione. Florence in May was busy. Off season might be better. more

The location really can not be beat. They have a check in time only until 1pm, but they are in constant contact with you and we arranged to check in at 4pm and they were waiting for us. While I note that they are in constant contact, they did not let us know that the bathroom lights were not working... more

We stayed here from 21st to 25th April last year (2008) and this B&B is one of the top hotels in the world as far as we're concerned. We've spent hundreds of dosh a night at some of the best 5 star hotels in Oz and Europe and Alessandro's wee place is easily one of the best ever. Everything good... more

We booked the Giovanni Fattori room for 2 nights in June...it was magical to say the least. Our balcony looked out onto a street with lots of life, we enjoyed the amazing location, right in the centre and the B&B was so clean, tidy and perfect, just the way you want to be in beautiful Florence. The balcony made such... more

We stayed in the room "Oduardo Borrani" and a my mother in law stayed in the room "Salvatore Lega". The rooms are definitely very big and spacious and as shown on the website. The location is unbeatable for the price, easy to find right next to the Gucci on Via Roma. Both Alessandro and Andrea were super friendly. The only... more

This charming B & B is literally next door to the duomo which makes it an ideal location for exploring Florence. The staff, particularly Alessandro, is wonderful and assisted with reservations at the more popular museums prior to my arrival, they also allowed me to store luggage for a few hours on the day of my departure. I stayed in... more
