I spent two nights in Florence with my girlfriend in this hotel and the very central location (just behind S. Maria Novella station) allowed us to walk everywhere. The room was clean, comfortable and fairly big. But the best part of the hotel is the manager and personnel: extremely helpful with indications, suggestions and ready to answer every question or... For a 2 star hotel it is good if somewhat pricy, €130 per night for double. The lady owner is charming and will do anything she can to make your visit memorable. Likewise the other members of staff are most helpful. Good location for restaurants and for visiting the sites in the city centre.

We were delighted with the Hotel Angelica. It is a very clean place. It is on the third floor of an renovated building., but you could not ask for a better location. This hotel is in the centre of city and walking distance to everything. The sheets and towels are changed every day, the WiFi worked very well any where... More

Great location and real clean, nice size room. We were in the back so it was very quiet. Family run and everyone is great! Very professional yet personable and friendly. Excellent English skills so able to help out in any way as needed. Would highly recommend!

The hotel is just round the corner from the Florence main station and thus is easily accessible to the centre. The service of the hotel staff (an old lady) was very nice. She helped us book travel passes from the hotel to visit leaning tower of Pisa and the centre of Florence. The breakfast in the morning is quite small... More

I chose to stay at Hotel Angelica based on the TripAdvisor reviews and was exrtremely disappointed. It needs to be made clear that the word hotel does conjur some expectations that you will not experience here. It is a floor in a building that feels more like a hostel than hotel. Walls are paper thin and you can hear every... More

Hotel Angelica is only a few minutes walk from the train station. It is located on the 3rd floor, there is a small lift. The hotel closes at 1am. We booked a double room but were given one that rather resembled a single - it was very small and the bed was too small for us. There was no night... More

We booked Hotel Angelica online, with no idea of what we were looking at. To say we were surprised that it was simply a few rooms on the 3rd floor of a building, is an understatement. BUT (and big BUT here), we were treated so kindly, and felt totally at home and well cared for. Getting big luggage in and... More

Location just around the corner from the station is great for anyone arriving by train or taking a bus tour. Rooms are clean, but if you don't like the sound of street cleaners or tourists arguing in the street at 1am take a room without a balcony. The balconies are unusable anyway. Probably unique to our stay, the air conditioning... More
