<location> 駅近い。レストラン、カフェ、スーパー全部ある。 It's near the main station. Suppose you get hotel lately, I think you're relatively safe. There were some super stores and many cheap or expensive restaurants. It was convenient enough to have a trip comfortably. <staff> とても親切で、その日のことをとてもよく聞いてくれました。 早朝の出発や深夜に戻っても、インターフォンでドアを開けてくれます。 しかし外出時は鍵をフロントに返すシステムです。 It was very kind of them to accept early departure and late return. Every time we went out, we... More

Feeling FRUSTRATED & ANGRY! We stayed in Hotel Angelica for 2 nights in Sep 2015. We paid by cash and the hotel double charged our credit card. We tried to contact the hotel for refund but till now we cannot get back our money. In Nov 2015, Fernando agreed to refund on 15 Dec 2015. Since we did not receive... More

We stayed at Hotel Angelica as part of a 3 week multi country trip through Europe. The management was so friendly it pains me to say it was not our favorite accommodations. The location is a 10 minute walk from the main train station and 15 minutes from the Colloseum which was great but while safe the neighborhood definitely left... More

Very pleasant stay. The front desk person was British so that was cool. Hotel was near several places to eat. Room was nice sized and very comfortable. The only issue was being able to hear people walking around the hall and the front desk staff since our room was right next to it.

We recently stayed in this cute little hotel/b&b...the hosts were lovely and the rooms were clean and tidy. Good for a short stay and really well located close to the market centrale and train station. The hop on-off bus stop is also very close by, so great for tourist aspect. I enjoyed my stay.

This is a small, family hotel. It is convenient to the historic Florence sights, train station, and convention center. It is clean, safe, and friendly. I loved the quaint elevator and building. Great!

On the road behind Santa Maria novella station, five minutes away at a stroll. Close to many restaurants and bars. Angelina and her family were warm and welcoming it was like being at home. Full of useful tips on shopping and the best places to eat their advice was invaluable. All our tours were booked at the hotel .We enjoyed our... More

My room was extremely small but clean. The shower was also small (but that's always the case in Italy) but had good water pressure. Bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning was efficient (which is great in the hot and humid summer!). The breakfast was exactly what I would expect in Italy (cappucino, croissants, toasts, etc.) and it was tasty.... More

Stayed in this compact hotel, great location walking distance from the station and great shopping! Family owned business, so you are warmly greeted and made to feel at home. Room exactly like the photo. Highly recommend this budget friendly hotel in Florence

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighborhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo’s lively merchants shout out from behind stalls with an array of products in one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Florence. Different ethnic groups join together in the large outdoor market of San Lorenzo and in the Central Market, a vast multi-floored building. Visitors are bound to fall in love with this area and in particular, with its variety of food, especially those focusing on Florentine dishes as well as international selections. Nobody leaves San Lorenzo without a shopping bag in hand or with an empty stomach.
