If you go to Florence then you must stay here. So close to the train station (although a little hard to find the first time around). When we reach the accomodation, we are greeted by friendly host, Matteo. He is extremely warm and helpful. The guesthouse is clean and have all the basic essentials in place.. hot shower, hair dryer etc. Place is 5min walk from train station. Certainly value for money. more
The location of this Il Giglio can be described as the edge of the city, as most of the major locations are 15 to 20 mins walk, although it is very close to the train station, which is perfect for travelers with bulky luggage. This is a very clean apartment divided into 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. The guesthouse is very quiet and walking distance to the train station (as long as your luggage rolls!).
