There are already quite a few reviews of Frantoio delle Grazie, but I will try to fill in some of the cracks, particularly for those who are planning to commute into Florence via public transport. We visited in July 2015 and stayed in the Melograni apartment. Quick summary first: The proprietor, Simone, is very accommodating and goes out of his... More

Lovely place. Very nicely furnished. We stayed in the studio. Huge shower room. No bath. Double bed very hard though for us. Very spacious and nice seating areas. Can get a few Mosquitoes as near to a stream. Lovely pool and shaded seating area. We hired bikes for a week which was great to get into Florence. Took about 20/25... More

We recently visited Frantoio, when we first arrived our taxi from the main train station to Frantoio was around €25, which we thought was rather expensive. When we got there we weren't disappointed, the scenery, room, surroundings were beautiful. The room was large and comfortable. Simone was very polite and courteous. We weren't renting a car so would have to... More

Florence for me is a city overwhelmed by tourists(us) Yes all the sights and landmarks are world class, but you need to be able to stand in line etc On the other hand Frantoio and Simone the host, offer a real feel of Tuscany far from the madding crowd The villa is set 500m off a quiet country lane with it's... We have just spent a very pleasant week in the Limoni apartment. It was comfortable, well equipped and very clean. The grounds were particularly good with plenty of places to sit and relax and a very nice pool, although unheated and too cold for us old softies! Good location for Florence by bus after a short walk and with a... More

Wonderful and quiet place and in same time near to the city. Very nice and helpful owner and service. Rooms spacy and designed in toscana style. After many hours spent in Florence, you enjoy the time by pool or grill. Huge area of green and trees. We will be happy to come back there some day.

This the 2nd time we have stayed in the Limone Apartment. Our last visit was 3 years ago. When we were planning our Italian trip this year, we knew we had to come back to Tuscany. The apartment is immaculate and well kept and fully equipped. The location is ideal. We have been to many countries over the years and... More

My girlfriend and I stayed in suite Melograni for the second week of October. This is a beutiful property, the room was very spacious and we really enjoyed the kitchen(good for making breakfast, which is kind of hard to find in Italy). There is a bus stop within walking distance which we used to get into Florence(25 minute ride maybe?).... More

The owner is very friendly and supportive to ensure a great time. Nicely located for a citytrip to Florence. A car or bike are recommended. The building which is an old olive mill has a lot of charme, it is well maintained and clean. Also the pool is nice. All in all recommended to spend some time here!
