We stayed here as part of a tour package and so the hotel was selected for us. Although somewhat basic, it had everything we needed and was the perfect base camp at the end of the day. The bed was comfortable (and had two pillows per person, so there was no issue there as we have seen in other's comments).... More

A little further out of town, but had a very good bus service, number 22 that took you into town and not far from the hotel. Lovely room, plenty of space and lovely and airy. The breakfast was good, continental, cheese, ham, cereals, toast, yogurt, danish pastries, toast, and preserve's and the coffee was fantastic!! Our room had a balcony,... More

Stayed for a few days last week in January 2016. Taxi from Station cost 17 Euros. Hotel room and bathroom clean-tidy and in good order. There is no coffee/tea making facilities in the room but there is room service available, at a cost. TV in Room was tuned into BBC worldwide news. The Bed was Hard. The staff who are... More

The owners of the hotel was very helpful and friendly!!! But I'm sorry to say the stay wasn't as pleasant. We was put in a disabled room (which we are not),the bed was very hard and uncomfortable, pillows soft and floppy, the drain in the shower room really smelt, had to spray every time we went in. We felt the... More

Stayed here for 2 nights, not a great choice, just a basic hotel. As per previous reviews the beds were very hard, and having tiled floors you could hear chairs scraping, people walking up and down the corridors etc, so doesn't make for a good nights sleep. The breakfast was very basic, and rooms were very bare. We had a... More

What a horrible hotel. The room was shockingly unforgivable. Again it was part of deal with weekender breaks who may I add are abysmal. We spent most of our short stay away from the hotel and into the central part of Florence. Breakfast was shockingly poor. Overall, a bad experience.

This must be the most outdated, poorest sad little "hotel" I have ever been to!!! The room was an eyesore, the bed was shockingly hard, with only one pillow, the toilet old and rusty! The walls were paper thin, we could hear everything the people next door were saying, we could even hear them pee, upstairs too! It was just... More

The Diva is a small hotel about 3 km from the centre of Florence. It is, though, on a frequent, reliable and very well used bus route. The staff are friendly and helpful but the hotel lacks any charm or character. The room we stayed in was a functional box - no pictures, tired and drab furniture and fittings. Breakfasts... More

The hotel staff and the breakfast were the best bits. As previous reviews have stated, the mattresses were extremely firm so not a great nights sleep, even with some fine wine and fine food to help settle me. The hotel is basic but seemed clean and tidy, the staff welcoming and helpful. If you just want somewhere to sleep and... More
