I've stayed here twice and have found both stays to be terrific. Just steps from Piazza Santo Spirito and a short walk to the Palazzo Pitti, this apartment (Santo Spirito) is equipped with free wi-fi, washing machine, kitchen, and can sleep a family of 7 or 8 (Queen, 2 pull-out sofas, daybed). The owner, Cristina, also owns the apartment next... More

Staying in Santo Spirito / San Frediano

Neighborhood Profile
Santo Spirito / San Frediano
A warm evening with a cocktail in your hand and great company is the ideal way to experience Piazza Santo Spirito; the area is busiest at sunset for happy hour. Visitors cannot hide their astonishment sitting on the staircase under the Basilica of Santo Spirito, and they cannot help but stare at the architectural masterpieces like Bianca Cappello House, Fontana dello Sprone and San Frediano in Cestello and Santa Maria delle Carmine churches.
