We stayed at one of the newly available apartments, the Matilda. It is on the Pizza Santo Spirito in a central location, from which you can easily walk to the main sights. “Excellent apartment in the middle of Florence”

I went to Florence in October 2005 and my sister recommended this apartment. The owner usually rents it out to people who actually want to live there, but she also rents rooms out for extended stays (for instance, people on holiday.)
