This is B&B is in a pretty good location not far from the central market and north of the historic city center and river. We walked everywhere without any trouble, but one day when we walked to Piazzale Michelangelo and other locations we had walked over 11 miles which may be too much for some people. The neighborhood is a... More

We loved our stay at Accademia house! Marco was an amazing host! He gave us a list of places to go which became our task to tick off. Every place was such an experience and really great! From the traditional restaurants to the trendy modern Italian. We loved it all! We are now giving the list marco gave us to... More

I have to echo the remarks of other reviewers on this establishment. We had 4 days to visit the wonderful city of Florence with all its charm and history. We realised that we'd made an excellent start by choosing this place to stay. We walked with our suitcases from the drop-off place in the main square by the station; this... More

An easy taxi from the train station. Marco(the host) is extremely informative and his passion for his home city shines through. He has great local, cheap restaurant tips and gives you a detailed map of all the sights. The room was beautiful and didnt lack anything. A great place to stay when visiting Firenze.

Accademia House is ideally located; the taxi journey took approximately 20 minutes from the airport and it took us a leisurely ten minute stroll to get into the historical heart of the city. The Palazzo Medici-Riccardi was the first sight that we stumbled upon and there were plenty of shops and cafes to visit whilst walking down Via San Gallo.... More

Marco is an awesome and charming person! He was in touch with me by SMS/e-mail before my visit and it gave me extra sense of confidence and comfort. During the visit itself Marco also provided us with his advises and care; he definitely is one of the most welcoming persons I met in Italy this time!

We stayed for 2 nights in early July and we were very pleased with the stay. The location was great, just a short walk away from the main sights and restaurants. Still the area was quiet and not too crowded with tourists. The room we had was beautiful and spacius and we loved the brick ceiling. The breakfast in the... More
