Thank you for hosting us at your lovely place! This hotel is in walking distance to hearth of Old City Area and Train Station (but walking is a bit tiring with big luggages like ours :) ) Marco was very helpfull. He showed us all must to see places on a map and helped us by keeping our bags after... More

Marco is an awesome and charming person! He was in touch with me by SMS/e-mail before my visit and it gave me extra sense of confidence and comfort. During the visit itself Marco also provided us with his advises and care; he definitely is one of the most welcoming persons I met in Italy this time!

We stayed for 2 nights in early July and we were very pleased with the stay. The location was great, just a short walk away from the main sights and restaurants. Still the area was quiet and not too crowded with tourists. The room we had was beautiful and spacius and we loved the brick ceiling. The breakfast in the... More

My wife and are on our honeymoon and this couldn't have been a better start. Marco was fantastic and very helpful. He have us recommendations for places to eat and things to see as well as kept our room very clean and neat. Location is good, a little north of things but that's actually good because it's not "tourist central".... More

Marco was wonderful! He kept his property clean. The room is spacious, even though there is no lift, he did carry all our suitcases to our room. The bed is very comfortable, felt like sleeping in your own bed! This was our second time in Florence, we stayed in the other hotel down on the street, but Academia House is... More

This is billed as a B&B but its not a B&B like you'd get in the UK. It is basically the first floor of building converted into several guestrooms. My room was spacious, clean, modern decor and furniture and had a spectacular vaulted ceiling and the bathroom was spacious. Breakfast is great - you get given vouchers for a cafe... More

Marco was very helpful, friendly and laid back. He gave us recommendations for a few restaurants - we went to two and had two fantastic, well priced meals (la Burrasca and Santo Bevitore) - and a few ideas for things to see outside the obvious ones. The room was well sized, in a lovely old building, with a really nice... More

I returned to Accademia House for my second honeymoon with my husband and we both loved it. I had stayed there with my daughter in 2011 and had such a great experience, I booked a week with Marco to celebrate our 20th anniversary. It was my husbands first trip to Florence and he appreciated how helpful and personable Marco was.... More

Accademia House may be terrific for guests who have stayed there, but be aware that it seems impossible to cancel a booking. (They require bookings to be guaranteed by credit card, and you must cancel no later than 15 days prior to arrival.) I have sent 2 emails receiving no response and phoned numerous times to no answer, except once,... More

Prices are resonale good value for money. I really enjoy staying at this bed and breakfast and I would definitely stay there again and recommend to my friends.
