We stayed there for 4 nights in November and overall we were very satisfied ! The SanGaggio House was to the standards it promised, clean, cosy, nicely decorated, genuine Florence style and also in a very nice location just outside the city centre, I would say within walking distance but also very close to a bus stop,if you dont feel... This was our first time in Florence and Flaminia and her wonderful San Gaggio House made its truly memorable. She was most helpful in sightseeing tips and her restaurant recommendations are so good I would selfishly keep them to myself! Will definitely return again. More

Another wonderful visit to the San Gaggio house and Flaminia. This was our 3rd visit and we will go back again. You couldn't have a more welcoming or accomadating hostess than Flaminia - who made reservations for us at a terrific restaurant. This B and B is clean, spacious and deluxe - the breakfast was terrific! Thanks again, Flaminia! More

My husband, myself and his parents stayed with our fabulous new friends at SanGaggio House for two nights in November 2011. The B&B was very cozy and the hospitality was phenomenal. Our parents had a beautiful view from their spacious room. Our room was more compact but the beds were comfy and very stylishly decorated. Breakfast was plentiful and woke... More

So...Perfect... Looking for a genuine enriching, Italian experience? SanGaggio House B&B si the place for you! I stayed 3 days at SanGaggio House Bed & Breakfast in Florence. I have been to Florence a few times but it was the first time that I got the real feeling of life "alla fiorentina". The B&B is located in a nice residential... More

Sangaggio House was a little hard for us to find (had we had a detailed map of the area it wouldn't have been a problem), but was a wonderful place to stay! My two friends and I stayed in the triple room. It was very cute and very clean. It was decorated really beautifully and we really enjoyed our stay... More

As we drove up, I was skeptical of the reviews saying that it was walking distance to downtown Florence. It was walking distance! It may not be as convenient as a hotel downtown, but the price was better, the staff (manager) was extremely friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was better, the food was great. If we come back, we we... More

We stayed there over the weekend. The room was very nice with a tratitional tuscany touch. The breakfast outside on the terrace was amazing! Nice breakfast buffet and beautiful garden. The hotel is located in a very calm & peaceful area. Flaminia is a very warm and welcoming person. We'll certainly come back. Car can be parked for free directly... More

Beautifully styled B&B with wonderful details and exceptionally well kept. Flaminia runs the B&B and lives onsite with her young son and husband. She will guide you through your stay - making reservations, suggesting local restaurants to eat, mapping out your day, calling taxis, etc. She works around you. The B&B is not in the walled city but still within... More

SanGaggio B&B is owned and managed by Flaminia who also lives on site with her husband and young son. The place was slightly out of the way but still within walking distance of the heart of Florence. We found living away from the hustle and bustle of Florence a breath of fresh air especially if you have been travelling around... More
