This was not a typical hotel, but rather an apartment that they rented out as a hotel. We stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. At first, the entryway scared us, because it is discreet and has a tiny elevator. but once we got inside, the room as huge! and had a small kitchenette with pots, pans, plates,... more

We had a wonderful three nights at this hotel. As others have said, the location couldn't be better; and it was great to lean out our window and watch the world go by! The room was spacious and clean and the staff could not have been more helpful, helping us with our every request. It's definitely not a standard hotel... more

The incredible thing about this hotel is that it's right on the Piazza della Signoria, site of the Uffizi Gallery and original home of Michelangelo's David. If we leaned out our window, we could see the reproduction of David that's there now. The room was really a little studio apartment, complete with kitchenette. The owner (?) lives in the building,... more

I really didn't know what to expect when I booked, although the reviews were excellent. Our flat surpassed any expectations I could have had. Spacious bedroom, modern kitchen, beautiful bath. Location was wonderful. I can't say enough. As long as you're not after 24 hr. concierge service and don't get claustrophobic in a small elevator, this is an excellent choice. more

We stayed here on our honeymoon and it couldn't have been more idyllic. Idyllic is usually a word reserved for the countryside, but truly, when you stay in a place, and open your window to see the Uffizi and hear hustle and bustle and then close your window and hear nothing. It is indeed idyllic, for a city at least.... more

I stayed in this hotel for three days with my family (we occupied three rooms). The location is excellent: at the Piazza della Signoria and just next to the Uffizzi. Actually, it is more an apartment service than a hotel. There is no front desk, but there is a reception located in the last floor and reachable by phone if... more

Oh, where do we begin?? What an unbelievable hotel in the best spot of all of Florence. The Regis is perhaps our favorite European hotel for the following reasons: 1. Location. You are right in the heart of it all. The Palazzo Vecchio is right outside your door. You are a 5 minute walk from the Duomo, 2 minute walk... more

My wife and I travel often to Florence for vacation. This was a rare find for us. The location is the "BEST" in the city. Steps to everything. Minutes to all the best restaurants. We were 4 doors away from the Uffizi Museaum. Maybe a 5 minute walk to the local train station, so we explored Tuscanny almost daily. The... more

Fantastic hotel and the location couldn't be better. Right on the main piazza in Florence, steps away from the Uffizi and numerous statues, and just a couple blocks from the Duomo and the Ponte Vecchio. Rooms were just as nice as they look on the website, everything was very modern and clean. Modern amenities and fantastic toiletries (Ferragamo). Our windows... more

A little chilly, otherwise a WONDERFUL hotel right on the square overlooking a beautiful piazza. The staff was wonderful and even let us keep our bags in the room the next day after checkout. We received very helpful information about local restaurants. This is a MUST STAY!! more
