We stayed in this little studio apt hotel @ Relais piazza signoria which overlooked the piazza Della signoria square. Walking out of our door to the right the Palazzo vechio and Uffizi gallery and not far was most of Florence famous attraction. We were provided with a furnished kitchen all we had to do was go to the market which... More

The location was amazing. So close to everything, made it so easy to wake up early and visit the uffizi before all the other tourists. The rooms were very clean and modern, great bathrooms and even has a tiny kitchen. (We stayed in 2 different rooms, because we initially made reservations for two nights, but when we got there changed... More

Beautiful property centrally located overlooking Piazza Signoria which is rich in history. Minor quirks with the room (our fridge was a bit too warm), but overall had a great experience. Travelled as 2 couples and can say there is a lot to recommend this hotel: like an Amazing breakfast. It's a lovely family-owned property and they were so welcoming and... More

We stayed here for four nights with a family of four. The location of the apartment is stunning. You are right on the piazza. Lovely for sight seeing and shopping. It was great to wake early and walk onto the piazza for an early cappuccino and cornetto. We found the apartment small for our needs. The main bedroom was spacious... More

What a find! Relais Piazza Signoria is not really a hotel but somewhat of a hotel room rental with no hotel amenities. The location is so very central and so you can drop back for a rest or freshen up and I guess is a 10 minute walk from all sights. The room (102) was on the first level and... More

We found this hotel to be absolutely excellent. The nondescript front door gives nothing away but once we walked into our spacious air-conditioned room overlooking the Piazza we were blown away. Everything is top quality, the bathroom, shower, kitchenette, comfortable beds. Everything is light and airy and clean. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Plus the location is... More

Perfect location, easy to come and go. Very clean and comfortable and also very quiet for such a central location. The small kitchenette is very helpful, especially to make tea and coffee etc. Person on the front desk was very helpful and charming.

Relais Piazza Signoria has been our favorite accommodation so far from our European trip! It is in the absolute perfect location - no longer than a 10 minute walk to any landmarks within Florence. It is less than a 5 minute walk to Ponte Vecchio, and about 7-10 minutes to Florence Cathedral. The rooms are absolutely huge - we had... More

Location, location, location... Relais Piazza SIgnoria is actually 5 metres from one of Florece´s most gorgeous and relevant sites. From our window, we could actually see the Palazzo Vecchio and the Lodgia dei Lanzi - and what a view it was! The apartment itself is ample, well equiped and rather comfortable, especially for Italian standards. I would certainly stay there... More

Staying in Uffizi

Neighborhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
