We found this hotel to be absolutely excellent. The nondescript front door gives nothing away but once we walked into our spacious air-conditioned room overlooking the Piazza we were blown away. Everything is top quality, the bathroom, shower, kitchenette, comfortable beds. Everything is light and airy and clean. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Plus the location is... More

Perfect location, easy to come and go. Very clean and comfortable and also very quiet for such a central location. The small kitchenette is very helpful, especially to make tea and coffee etc. Person on the front desk was very helpful and charming.

Relais Piazza Signoria has been our favorite accommodation so far from our European trip! It is in the absolute perfect location - no longer than a 10 minute walk to any landmarks within Florence. It is less than a 5 minute walk to Ponte Vecchio, and about 7-10 minutes to Florence Cathedral. The rooms are absolutely huge - we had... More

Location, location, location... Relais Piazza SIgnoria is actually 5 metres from one of Florece´s most gorgeous and relevant sites. From our window, we could actually see the Palazzo Vecchio and the Lodgia dei Lanzi - and what a view it was! The apartment itself is ample, well equiped and rather comfortable, especially for Italian standards. I would certainly stay there... More

This has to be one of the best centrally located apartments in Florence. If this was London you would be right ON Trafalgar Square. Restaurant one side of the entrance door and an ice cream shop on the other. Clean, quiet, we were on the 5th floor (there is a lift). Air conditioned and in first class condition. Courteous and... We were received by Fulvio, a very happy and helpful host that with his great hospitality made me decide to stay because I was disappointed of the common areas of this building when we arrived and was wondering of how the rooms would look but to my surprise they were spacious, well decorated and clean. The air conditioning of my... More

On our fourth trip to Italy we wanted to see more of the country, but to be able to relax in between days away from Florence and this wonderfully appointed apartment did the job superbly. The apartment was spotlessly clean, the bed was great and the air-conditioning excellent. We took trips by train to Venice, Verona and Pisa on alternate... More

Very central and convenient location. lovely apartment with a little kitchen and fridge. Coffee, hot chocolate, teas, some biscuits and small sweets on table on arrival. Maps at reception. Very comfortable and spacious bed, bigger than a King bed. A little noisy at night if you leave window open. Couldn't work out the air conditioner, but we coped with it,... More

Staying in Uffizi

Neighborhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
