This is a dirty hostel, not a hotel. The advertised air conditioning is misleading. "Most rooms" have it, but probably not yours. The lobby is an expanded hallway with dirty furniture, a community refrigerator and no air. Stayed here with my wife in November 2007. The hotel directions state that it is 200 metres from the railway station, and it is!! The bus from the airports also stop at the train station (Santa Maria Novella) so the directions apply to both.
