I stayed at the hotel twice this year (in May and September). The first time I stayed there, the Hotel was recommended by a Florentine who advised me to stay away from the train station areas... We celebrated our 30th year together in Florence and stayed at the Borghese Palace Art Hotel. It was a perfect choice. Elegent, well located and upscale hip. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a classy way to celebrate a romantic milestone, or perhaps to create one. more
Great hotel, with excellent location, and the front desk staff is very helpfull. The room (204) was very good, not very large, but with great decor. more
Excellent location - just 5 minutes walk fro the Uffizi. Excellent staff who could not have been more helpful. The hotel is modern and stylish with a great bar and a first rate included breakfast. Lots of glitz and no glamour..this hotel almost ruined our honeymoon..my husband wanted to stay at the $Best$ hotels while we were honeymooning and this one was recommened by our travel agent. Many hotels in Florence are "old style", but sometimes "old style" can just look and feel "old". I had this feeling from many hotels in Florence. Book this hotel. It is very comfortable and the location is terrific. Front desk is staffed by very professional attendents. They made all the difference for us. Good advice for dining and they helped us with reservations. more
