My two friends and I stayed at Casa Di Barbano for two nights in early April. It is located a few blocks from the train station and about a 15 minute walk to the main sites in Florence. There are also some small eateries close by. The owner was very nice and helpful. She called the Accademia to make reservations... More

Ownership and staff were incredible. Easy walk to train station, 15 minute walk to heart of city. Loved the fact that it was easy to everything but in a nice quiet neighborhood. Made to feel welcome and at home. Great service.

Fantastic place just minutes from the train/bus station, but still in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Very good location, less than 10 minute walk to the Duomo and under 5 mins to the market place. (Note they have opened the 2nd floor and it is great for a quick lunch, glass of wine, or mug of beer) Room was on... More

Located on a side street, a short distance from the Stazione Santa Maria Novella 2 train station, and only a few blocks from Galleria dell'Accademia, home of Michelangelo's David CASA DE BARDANO proved to be an ideal location, comfortable, quiet, and relaxing. The owner/operator Moraq, was truly gracious and respectful and energetically accommodated our travel needs: in room breakfast, ideas... More

The directions were hard to follow and unless you like muffins croissants orange juice and coffee breakfast is boiled sweets and the sofa beds aren't comfy it is a long way from major attractions and not near any nice cafés or restaurants also it is hard to access but the service is nice and friendly

The room was half-underground, small yet tasteful. The owner was VERY friendly and pointed us around the city and suggested things to do -though time was constrained. There was no allowed parking outside and we either had to pay or risk a fine -only for residents and unloading. The breakfast was small and cold, but more importantly, there was no... More

Me and my wifestayed in Casa di Barbano for 6 nights and it was wonderful. Moraq who runs the place is very helpful , she recommended us " must see" places, restaurants. Breakfasts are a treat, fresh bread and croissant, a selection of jams, nutella, orange juice. It was so good! We had a nice and large room with air... More

the rooms are a great size. the lady that runs the place is exceptionally nice, and is very flexible to your requirements, and it's affordable and close to transport links if you are catching the trains around Europe. couldn't fault this hotel at all.

Casa di Barbano is a good place to stay in Florence due to its good location (around 10-15 mins from Stazione Santa Maria Novella and aound 10 mins walk from the city centre) and the host Moraq, who is very helpful giving tips of what to do or where to eat/drink, as well as offering herself to make calls to... We stayed here for 5 nights at the end of May and would like to say what an excellent experience we had. Moraq is a fantastic hostess. When we arrived Moraq gave us a map and gave us advice on the best places to visit during our stay. The room was large and very comfortable with a very clean en... More
