We were given one of the newer rooms, on the ground floor near the kitchen, and it had a new bathroom and was very nice. The room itself was huge (double bed with a single bed)! We got lost on the way to the hotel (because I'm bad with directions), and a woman asked if we needed help. Turns out... More

Room is nice, bed is uncomfortable, bathroom needs updating but great location. Room was stuffing ask owner about turning up the air conditioner she came unglued which leads me to believe she had other complaints about the AC. We booked Casa Di Barbano on a whim. We needed somewhere quick, cheap, close to the city centre and train station for an impromptu hop to Florence. This accommodation exceeded my expectations. The room is big, bright, absolutely spotless and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely and fresh and the proprietors were very friendly. I am so happy we ended up... More

Our room is large, with a comfortable bed, nice linens, great wifi and space for our things! It has lots of natural light through the large windows, the ceilings are at least 12', we have A/C with room controls, and it's wonderfully quiet, even on the ground floor facing the street. The feel is old - in the best way... More

My two friends and I stayed at Casa Di Barbano for two nights in early April. It is located a few blocks from the train station and about a 15 minute walk to the main sites in Florence. Ownership and staff were incredible. Easy walk to train station, 15 minute walk to heart of city. Loved the fact that it was easy to everything but in a nice quiet neighborhood. Made to feel welcome and at home. Great service.
