On the plus side: On arriving we were given a room which did not fit what we've booked but thankfully la gentile signora (Enrico's mum) sorted out another room for.us and the matter was resolved appropriately. The rooms were very clean! Enrico's mum was very helpful with all our queries. On the other hand...AC was not cold enough. No lifts... More

Visited as family of 4. Lovely large and clean room and bathroom. Access to a shaded terrace. Enrico and his mother were gracious hosts and helped us find our way around. The B&B is ideally situated to walk to the centre of Florence or along the Arno. Very conveniently situated for bus routes as well

We only were able to be in Florence for 2 nights but we really enjoyed it and got the most out of our time thanks to Enrico and his amazing amount of information, but not only that but he was so happy to share and help. Was a great place to stay. Very easy going and everything we needed! Thanks... More

Just stayed at the Cimabue 9 with my daughter. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast! Enrico was a delight and recommended lovely restaurants for us. The room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. We even had a door to the outside terrace! The location was just outside the old city and we ended up walking a... More

Cimabue 9 is in a convenient neighborhood just outside of the city center, easy walking distance or you can hop on a city bus for a short ride. The area isn't so full of tourists like the city center is. The room had indoor and outdoor shutters which helped to block out street noise and early morning light. We liked... More

My husband and I stayed for three nights at the end of May. We had a lovely large room and bathroom, both spotlessly clean. It is just on the edge of the pedestrianised area of Florence. There are nearby bus stops which take you into the centre but we didn't use these as it was an easy walk in, either... More

I stayed for a week which is perfect so you don't miss anything from Florence! I've been in Rome and Venice but Florence impressed me again. The location of the "Cimabue Bed & Breakfast" gives you a hand. Near to the beautiful squares of this amazing city (by walk is not more than 15-20 min), and you have the bus... More

I stayed here with my family (mom, dad, and sister) and we all had an amazing time. Enrico is ever so helpful and gracious. He helped us with what to see, modes of transport, with our luggage, breakfast, and was always available. His property is very clean and at a very convenient location. I recommend it to anyone and will... More

Very good quality B&B accommodation, managed and run by Enrico. His friendly help and attention made all the difference, for our first experience of Italy. Enrico's English is very good and that definitely helped! Our bedroom was spacious, with a comfortable bed and was kept very clean. Good en-suite shower/toilet facilities and air-conditioning if needed. The B&B is just outside... More

My daughter and I visited Florence in April 2015. The star of this little B&B is its manager (Enrico), who is extremely kind, friendly, and helpful. Gracie for all your help, Enrico!Definitely the nicest person my daughter and I encountered during our week-long visit to Italy. Anyway, Cimabue 9 (Chee mah boo ayy) is located in a residential part of... More
