Apart from the beauty of Florence, this hotel will entice you the moment you walked in; the fragrance, the outstanding service by the front desk, and the interior. We had complimentary upgrade to the suite and it was stunning; the room, amenities, wireless functions, the kitchenette, the view from the room, and even the toilet itself. Very well interior designed.... More

We stayed here for 3 nights during our 14 night trip to Italy celebrating our Anniversary. We rented a convertible and had a terrible time trying to reach the hotel. We pulled over and called the hotel from the car and they came to us and drove us to the hotel. My husband was upset from the drive and they... More

This is, without a doubt, one of the best hotels in which I've ever stayed. Many hotels hire a talented decorator and buy nice furniture. However, it's the service that makes the difference. I showed up at 9 am not expecting a room. Not only did they check me in, but gave me an awesome upgrade with a view of... More

First visit and really excellent staff. Our room overlooking the Arno was pleasant and had a small kitchenette for coffee and tea. Whilst the room was reasonably well soundproofed motor cycles could sometimes be intrusive in the early morning. Our only criticism was the bathrobes which might have fitted a size "0" model but were totally inadequate for normal people.... More

Firstly let me pre-empt that this is a beautiful hotel, in a great location, with lovely rooms, and attentive service (when you get there). My main concern is that trying to arrange restaurant bookings for New Years Eve and New Years Day in advance of our stay turned out to be a real faff. I had to deal with quite... More

There is absolutely nothing not to love about this hotel - Florence, the position, the rooms, the service, the view, the bed... I could go on and on and on. This is the second time we have stayed here - previously it went under the name of Lungarno Suites. It took some digging to realise the hotel had changed names... More

We certainly hit the jackpot staying in Portrait Firenze as part of our trip to Italy celebrating 25 years marriage. On our arrival the lifestyle team made us feel very welcome. We had arrived a little earlier than check in time expecting to drop our bags and return later. The team called housekeeping to ensure our room was made available... More

The Portrait Firenze and Roma are my favorite hotels ever. I never write reviews, but these hotels deserve it. We last stayed at the Portrait Firenze in September 2015 with our two small children. I am still daydreaming about our stay and I felt I needed to write a review for this wonderful hotel and staff. Staff: The entire staff... More

I stayed with my family at this hotel in January 2015. It was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The location and view was breathtaking. All the services are up to date and more than enough. The staff were amazing and paid attention to every need and detail of our stay. I specially thank Leonardo, Baha,... More

Staying in Uffizi

Neighborhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
