The owner was rude (that old lady), she gave us the wrong key when we checked in, and blamed us because we were not able to answer her calls. She even turns the wifi off every time she leave. Towels were not free (€2 per towel). But in all fairness, the location is perfect. Everything is accessible.

I went with some friends to Florence for a long weekend and we stayed here for two nights. The building was great, 500 years old, it felt unique and old. The room was great, clean, well kept, plenty of blankets for the cold night. It was also in a great location, two minute walk from the dome, 5 mins from... More

They change their name to Hostel Greci which share the same address. I book through other website and they have ensuit and shared bathroom room type. It is so misleading, and I promised you all the room is shared bathroom type because they only have one bathroom in entire floor. and the light sensor is terrible, they couldn't sense us... More

The place is accesible with the tourist spots but I would not recommend this place. When we came in, the place has a lift for luggage but the landlady did not offered it to us when we came. We have to pay 2 euros for the towel. One of the most annoying thing with this place is that the landlady... More

The accommodation was easy to locate because it is just right in the center if the city and a lot of people, locals, store owners know the place, so it was easy to navigate going there. I was suppose to rate this place as terrible, but due to its excellent location, I settled to give it a poor rating, at... More

This hostel is brilliant- we had forgotten what room we booked, and expected it to be a bit grim considering how central the location was, thinking there must be a catch. However, it was our favourite hostel out of the 8 we stayed in whilst travelling round Europe. What stunned me most was how standing on the hostel's doorstep, you... More

Ideally located close to the station, river and in the heart of the historic centre, this hostel is probably the best for the cheap price you have to spend. Very friendly and helpful staff and very clean rooms and bathroom. Try to get a room that is not on the street side unless you might be annoyed by the noise.... More

This hostel was high above expectations , the bed was extremely comfortable. wonderful large bathroom ! The hostel has many delightful sitting areas. the location is literally attached to the Uffizi Gallery and walking distance to major sights in Florence. The staff was very nice and helpful. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

Excellent location close to the station, river and historic centre.Awesome! We loved the decor, which is a mix of modern style with tradition. The room we had was spacious, clean and had comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly. And it's the best value for money we ever had!

Staying in Uffizi

Neighborhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
