Although the Hostel is really far away from the city center (have to take two buses and 10 minutes walk), the place is completely worth it!!... The view of Florence is UNIQUE! The facilities are pretty confortable and spacious rooms! In the back has a nice outside social/bar area where you can hang with your friends... Every night they offer... More

Hi! Many thanks for your comment and we are happy to read you liked the place! Indeed to get to us you will have to take bus 23 from the Florence railway station till Sorgane and then take the 24 till La Fonte. After a 15 minutes walk uphill but in the middle of a typical tuscan countryside, brings you... More

The hostel is a bit out of the city, and because we missed the last bus, it was a bit difficult to get there. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The hostel is amazing, I love it! The breakfast was also very tasty.

Hello! Nice to read that you enjoyed staying at our Bigallo Hostel. Indeed if you miss the last bus (approximately at 09.20 p.m ) you need a taxi to get to us. Even if we are out of the center of Florence, you will have an amazing view of the whole city from our terrace! Hope to welcome you again.... More

The hostel was extremely out of the way if wanting to visit Florence, cabs weren't too expensive but catching the bus involves a lot of walking and a change halfway. The surroundings were amazing, it felt like being back in the medieval times and the panoramic view of Florence was beautiful. Rooms were OK, as you would expect but bathrooms... More

Hello, thanks for your comment and I can only confirm that the Bigallo Hostel is in the tuscan countryside and so not in the center of Florence. To get ther we always suggest a proper car or otherwise guests can take some buses to get here but should consider a 20 minutes walk uphill to get at the Hostel (... More

The hostel is a bit outside the city and you have to climb up a hill to get here but it is absolutely worth the climb! The view from the hostel is amazing overlooking Florence. The place is an old monastery that became a hostel, the facilities are very nice. The staff was awesome, really friendly and helpful! The wifi... More

Hello! Thank you for your nice comment. Indeed the Hostel is about a 40 minutes drive - with public transport - from Florence city center but then you enter a real tuscan countryside and being upon a hill is just what makes the the view of the whole city so enchanting. As to the wifi we are working on it... More

I actually went to this medieval building for an Italian dinner but was so taken by the beauty of the building and location. This structure has so much rich history it was by far my favorite stop while in Florence. Next time I will be staying here as a guest!
