i was looking for a reasonable place, easy to get to from the station. Central Florence is a nightmare for wheeling your bags on cobble stone and crowded footpaths. This hotel is easy to find, the welcome was very warm and our superior room was very spacious and well equipped. The French doors opened over a garden and let in... More

Dear Peter thank you so much for you nice review, perfect description of our place :) Since a couple of weeks we switched our internet connection provider to an optical fiber one, now the service is really better that before but still absolutely free of charge. I look forward to welcome you again - saluti da Firenze - Lorenzo More

We stayed on the 1st floor overlooking the garden. The room was of decent size and warm. The bathroom had everything you needed, was a bit cosy with wise but perfectly usable. Both were very clean, with lovely rustic furniture. The bed was so very comfortable, i wanted to bring it home. The breakfast was plentiful, rolls, cakes, meats, cheeses, yoghurts, fruit, cereals, toast, croissants, juice, coffee machine that does every... More

Dear Karen thank you really very much for your feedback :) Yes it's better to bring an international plug adaptor as the UK plug here in Italy is really unusable, sorry... we have some adaptors that our guests can borrow from us anyway. I'm looking forward to your next visit - saluti da Firenze - Lorenzo More

Not the best location, poor wifi, and an odd policy with the keys that requires you to leave them at the desk, meaning the receptionist needs to let you in. But they are usually at their desk, the location is still an easy walk into the core of Florence, and the room is clean and comfortable. Florence is expensive, so... More

Dear Rebecca thank you for your feedback :) We let our guests leave the keys at the desk for more than one reason: fire prevention (we know that you room is empty in case of fire) and security of the area (the entrance door is always closed) are the most important :) We have a new provider since few weeks,... We stayed on the ground floor of this hotel in a twin room with shared bathroom. It was a little shabby but had a nice Italian charm to it and for the price I'm not complaining. It was very good value. the breakfast which is included was delicious with a selection of hot and cold food. The staff were very... More

The toliet was contially leaking (not very nice to walk bare feet in the bathroom with toilet water all over the floor). The sink also made noise all night as air and water bubbled in the pipes. The hotel was very cold even when we put the heating to maximum. I think other rooms are of better quality given the... More

Dear Bente, I am sorry about the broken pipe, it has been fixed as soon as possible. You're right, we have better rooms, you booked one of our 3 Economy and those are really very basic... the other 17 are divided between standard and superior and I hope to have you here again in one of these. Moreover in those... More

It is amazing. The staff does know wat it means to be in a hospitality business nd they are amazing. Special mention for Gabrille at front desk. Most hospitable manager I have ever come across. Must stay here on ur visit to Florence. The location is also great.

A room was spacious, wifi was slow. We happened to meet 3 people at a Reception and all of them were very friendly and helpful. Too bad a night Receptionist (a man) overslept and we had to wait our breakfast to take with us. There is a big balcony to see a street. A toilet was lousy - too small... More

We stayed here for two nights and we had a room with a shared bathroom. The hotel is a bit old-fashioned, but it's clean and groomed. The walls are very thin, the shared bathroom is really small and there is no shelf or stand were to put your cosmetics. The breakfast was really good and the area where the hotel... More

We stayed at this hotel for a few days recently and i absolutely loved the charm of the place. It is cheap comparatively and it is basic, but it is exactly what you would expect from a Tuscan hotel - shuttered windows, big spaces and lots of surrounding greenery. The hotel is about a fifteen minute walk from Ponte Vecchio,... More

A 15 minute walk from the railway station, in a quiet street near the river. Great to walk along the river towards the centre with a super view of Ponte Vecchio. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The room was comfortable, looking out onto a garden area. Very helpful staff - day and night - with plenty of useful practical advice.... More
